The Kerala Club — Restaurant in Central Zone

Nice club. Well located in the heart of coimbatore city. Food was great and tasted good than we expected. They have variety of non veg items including beef and pork, which is good. Beef manchurian was excellent. I reduced one star for the lethargic and rude attitude of the waiters. Restaurant waiter didn't note down any of our orders and just took orders by just listening and as expected forgot few items to serve. Bar waiter was trying to upsell the liquor and was not just listening to the liquor we wanted, other than that everything else was good. No swimming pool but all the other necessary facilities of a club is available. If you are an affiliated member like me, visiting coimbatore, definitely try this club. Rooms were under renovation but once done hope it will be nice...

I visited this club to attend a marriage function for my friend's daughter. When we reached the gate , the quarrel between the security and the people who reached there to attend the marriage function was going on. The security was not allowing the people to park their vehicle inside the club premises. ENTRY ONLY TO MEMBERS. Then why did they rent the club to the outsiders. The club may say that while renting , it was already told. The guests do not know all these things. What I want to say is that if you do not want to disturb your conveniences, why do you want to give the club hall and roof top on rent to outsiders.

The space at the roof top is ok but the hall at the ground floor...

For the Calicut Offcers Club members, this club is an affiliate. Though situated in an one way street, approach is not difficult. Very old club. ( Might be 50+ years) On our Coimbatore personal trip, we had a visit to this club. Spent couple of hours. The bar is in a small Hall. The service was fine and fast. ( Serviced with a smile!! That's the appreciable one we felt) Understood the rooms are also there on affordable rates. Quite a good area for parking and we'll within the heart of the City.
