A Memorable Evening at Restaurante El Manzano Nestled in the heart of town, Restaurante El Manzano delivered an enjoyable dining experience that left us both satisfied and impressed. The evening unfolded with a carefully curated selection of dishes—tender meats plated to perfection, rich and flavorful seafood rice, and a variety of Mexican dips that added an extra touch of indulgence to the meal. To accompany the spread, we shared a single bottle of Prosecco, a crisp and refreshing addition to an already delightful evening. The quality of the food was undeniable—each bite reflected the care and expertise of the kitchen. However, the price point stood out, making the dinner feel decidedly upscale. At approximately L1,800 per person, the experience leaned towards the more expensive side, a factor worth considering for those who value indulgence but remain mindful of cost. Beyond the food, one unexpected highlight captured our attention—the majestic manzano tree standing proudly at the restaurant. Watching its branches laden with fruit added a unique charm to the atmosphere, reinforcing the restaurant’s connection to nature and tradition. El Manzano certainly knows how to create a memorable evening, balancing excellent flavors with a beautiful setting—though at a price that makes it more of a special occasion indulgence. Would I go back? Perhaps with expectations set, but undeniably, the charm of that fruit-bearing tree and the skillfully crafted meal are hard to forget.

Excelente grilled food and service. The food does take some time to arrive, but the quality and taste was worth the wait. The grilled fish and shrimps were specially good. The salads and juices also very good. I would recommend this place for people who are not in a hurry or are able to bring their computer and work while they wait.

This was our second time eating here. We were on a medical mission trip, and our host (who lives in San Pedro Sula) took us here for our last meal of the trip.

The atmosphere is perfect! Lights hang in the trees outside before you walk in…the place is beautiful! We had a family style meal with steak/ribs/chicken/sausage along with side of refried beans, rice, plantains, tortillas, and all the sauces to go along with it. ie: Chimichurri

I would highly recommend trying this place of...
