Hotel Sri Lakshmi Sagar — Restaurant in Zone 13 Adyar

I had a worst experience on the evening of Nov18 2024 alone with my kids. There will be Safari gentleman sitting at the cash counter. Need to be very careful with that guy. My experience was the food server typed the bill and gave to the safari dress gentleman since his appearance was decent I ask him how much as the bill was not handed over to me.. he didn't show me the bill and said 170 rupees. I paid via UPI 170 rs and when I asked the bill after the payment to my surprise it was 160 and when i asked for return of 10 rs , he said it can't be given back. Iam so upset with that gentleman behavior and told him that to your age not suppose to behave like this and this is not good to you. I left the place and decide not to visit any more even the hotel is very near to my home.

Visited many times when i stayed at Adyar. Observed that waiters use Ganesh, chaini kaini kind of stuffs and there's no cleanliness while serving. They outrightly demand tips even when you're a daily visitor and on subsequent visits. Upon questioning the owner whether he doesn't pay much and on the attitude and cleanliness of waiters the owner felt helpless and said even though he pays waiters more and insists waiters not to demand tips from customers they repeat the same. He also said i won't get labourers easily and therefore losing customers because of their behaviour. And on the personal hygiene of waiters the owner said he can't do anything. Poor owner. Here trouble is that even after waiting for food staff never care to supply food.

One old guy Supplier will direct to sit another place if a customer sit his chosen place. If ask some dish in Menu he will reply you think for while and not care you. If anytime if we disagree to sit on above mentioned seat what he directed he will scold and make you wait for long time. On the other hand if we ask for a side dish with Puliyodara or Thenga saadam, he will act not listen. He is things Customers are stupids or Dump even. Huge attitude people. We have to pay and see the pose of the supplier... Damp crazy and creepy... Never seen such irritating behaviour
