Terrible dining experience with one disaster after another. My boyfriend and I came here for dinner this evening and when we arrived there were only two other tables occupied. The waitress quickly took our drink order and then our food order when she brought the drinks. My boyfriend ordered a langos and I ordered a gyro PITA with mayonnaise potato salad. Over the next thirty or so minutes the tables started filling up and we realized that other tables who came after us were getting their food before we were. Eventually the same waitress who took our order came over and asked us if we had ordered food, as apparently she had no recollection of even taking our order. She eventually remembered taking or order but admitted that she took it and then just didn't give it to the cook. No apology was offered for this.

After waiting another twenty minutes or so, we finally get our food, but instead of the pita and potato salad I ordered she brought a gyros platter with fries. I tell her that isn't what I ordered and she had the nerve to point to the fries on my plate and insist that it was a "potato salad." I even pointed to what I wanted on the menu and she still managed to screw up and refuse to take responsibility. After deciding that she knew what I ordered better than I did she did offer to take it back and fix it but I was too hungry to wait anymore for what was likely to be a third screwup so I ate it.

The line cook also came out and tried to argue with me.

We were never offered a genuine apology, or any discount off our menu for what has to have been the most abysmal service I have ever had. Terrible dining experience, and I recommend eating literally...

Advice for the owner: Hot people are overrated. Hire qualified staff that remembers what the guests ordered or that they actually ordered food. Hotpants 10/10, food 6/10, service 0/10, honor 0/10. And maybe next time, listen to the grievances of the guests and take them serious, instead of doubling down and making a fool out of yourself.

Background: my girlfriend ordered gyros pita with a side of German potato salad (all according to the menu). I ordered a simple langos. We waited for 30 minutes, after which the waitress said that she took our order but forgot to hand it to the kitchen. After some 15 more minutes our food arrived and my girlfriend got gyros without pita and without potato salad. We pointed it out and she told us that the FRIES were German potato salad. The owner of the place also said that this indeed was German potato salad, despite it being a completely different side dish. The waitress then, despite her speaking perfect English, claimed she didn't understand us because she we spoke too fast (despite her taking down our order and double checking with us what we ordered).

Bottom line: stay away...

Very attentive and kind wait staff, clearing our plates quickly but giving us time to finish and enjoy the meal, asking about drinks top up, checking in on us.

I ordered the special marrow toast which was very indulgent. The chillies ontop was not too spicy, I think it would have helped to have a few more to cut through the fattiness of the marrow spread. However, I parired it with the cucumber salad which was a great combination.

I also got the homemade sausage with mustard which was delicious and had a nice acidic note to the meat. For dessert I had the pancakes with cottage cheese, but by this point I was very full already! The house lemonade was also very tasty.
