Planet Sushi — Restaurant in Budapest

First of all. There is another entry in Google maps for the same restaurant (with a much lover score). I ordered some nigiri and a tonkotsu ramen. The rice was a little bit crisp and the fish wasn't totally fresh but consider Hungary bit far from sea😊. As a ramen addict and in special a tonkotsu one I was happy to try the spicy version. The broth was one of the best one tasted in Budapest. Very good flavours. Congrats! The flavoured tamago was hot (not spicy) and I cannot understand how...I hope there was no microwave involved. The nuddles consistency was exactly how I Iike it, hard, but I wasn't the real ramen noodle taste and I would be happier with more on the plate. Instead there was a lot of charsiu. It was cooket ham instead of some good marinated and cooked/grilled pork belly. Found some tasty shitake and sprouts. The bottom line was the spicy version created by some fresh green chilli which is okay in a gulash but not really in a japanese tonkotsu. It looks like a rigorous opinion but as a ramen addict I must tell the truth. Overal I recomand this place and...

I've been going to Planet Sushi for about 5 years now and the sushi has been tasty, fresh each time. They are doing a good job considering how difficult it must be to get fresh seafood ingredients in Budapest.

I think there are two areas where they could improve: lemonades and speed of service. I think the lemonades could include more fruit. Service: generally speaking you can't get through a starter&main course in less than 2 hours. However, last time I went I was positively surprised to see that I was in and out in about 1 hour so a major improvement in the speed of service (hopefully not just a one...

I came here twice with my friends, spent 70k+ combined. So a waiter spilled my lemonade on me, half of my pants got wet, he brought me another lemonade and that’s it, at the end they charges us full service fee. This is so shameless, apparently I paid 6k for the guy to spill drink on me :) I’ve had accidents in other restaurants before, but at least they freed me the service fee or even gave discount on the food. I’ll never come here again and I don’t recommend it to anyone who have the money and want to enjoy fancy Japanese food in a good environment, you can find better places...
