SapoRita Pizzeria — Restaurant in Debreceni járás

The new location is great. Open spacious breezy outside area and cosy warm inside area. Unfortunately there is no kids play area anymore. They have a new Sicilian gelato stand though which is really incredible and very authentic. I can't remember having better pizza in Hungary. The Sicilian pizza was just mind blowing. I love how they put quite a lot of mozzarella on. These days good pizza places are too mean with the cheese but these guys are very generous. The kids loved the ham and corn pizza too. Nice touch that they have fresh Peroni on draft with the original glassware too. I think it's an improvement on the previous premises but it would be nice if they bought back...

Actullay we came here by our friends recommendation but we were not too satisfied with the food. We ordered 2 pastas (carbonara and arrabiata) but none of them was special and we didn't feel the italian vibe at all. I feel like you can make this carbornara at home.. We ordered 1 pizza to share but the veggie pizza has arrived without tomato sauce, which was our fault because we haven't checked at the menu before but we never tought that there can be a pizza without sauce topping.. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also not best, I felt like I'm a socialist home...

I went here with my girlfriend as Kashmir was full (so reserve a table there if you wanna go on a Saturday), but we were not disappointed.

As they didn't have too many vegan options, I went for the neapolitana, and it was amazing. Very well balanced and the dough throughout the whole pizza wasn't soggy at all, but tastefully doughey. My gf had a vegetarian pizza, and it wasn't quite as good as the neapolitana, actually.

The place is very cute, although the lighting could be much cozier....
