This cafe exhibits serious racial discrimination. You should avoid this place if you don't want to receive cold service based on your race or skin color. The owner has a responsibility to educate their staff to prohibit discrimination, and this incident shows a very unfriendly side of Hungary.
I went into the cafe to get a coffee. Since one of the baristas was delivering a drink to a customer, I didn't hear her tell me where to order. I then asked the employee in the photo for help. I said "Hi," but she didn't respond or even look at me. I then said, "Excuse me," and again, she didn't respond or look up. At the time, there was no one else at the counter besides her and me, and we were only about a meter apart. When the other barista returned, they both looked at me, laughed dismissively, and talked to each other for a moment. Then the other barista called out to me, "You can order here." I went over and told them how rude and disrespectful they had been. The employee explained that the other one couldn't speak English. I told her that even if she didn't speak English, she should have at least looked up and responded when I spoke to her.
