I am quite picky when it comes to food, and good service in Hungary is generally non-existant, hence we came to the place with no particular expectations. To our great surprise everything we've ordered was absolutely phenomenal: from amazing combination of ingredients to serving itself. Portions are great size:not gonna leave you hungry,neither you should worry about food being wasted. We were so impressed that had to come back next day. A very interesting restaurant in the heart of Szombathely. Cozy ambiente with nice music in the background. The menu has diverse items, and we ordered the staters. A big plate has arrived with a mix of duck liver pate with some ham and cheeses in addition to some tartar with a very nice decoration of vegetables and butter. The main dish for me was a chicken breast made in a Hungarian way with a delicious sauce, a very nice presentation. The Hungarian wine selection that accompanied the starters and main dish were a good advice from the waiter. It is an excellent restaurant with a nice wide range of pork, beef, poultry and fish dishes. Naturally, they also have great vegetarian options. The staff are really helpful and they are always ready to recommend you something should you feel uncertain about the food or the drink you would like to consume.
