So glad we made the drive out here and found this place to eat. While I am enjoying Icelandic fare, a change of pace and some heavier spice was very welcomed at this point in our trip around the ring road! We had chicken tangines and a veggie tangine and thoroughly enjoyed them. The dining area is classy but cozy, the service is impeccable as it seems to always be in Iceland, and the food was top notch. Definitely worth a stop. And my 10 year old enjoyed the neighborhood trampoline across the street - bonus!

Amazing restaurant and a total surprise for a small Icelandic town to have such a delicious Moroccan restaurant! I got the 3 course meal and I’m glad I did. The homemade bread and cheese was one of the best things I ate on my travels. The crème brûlée was divine. The staff was so friendly and found a table for one for me. Worth planning to eat here.

Absolutely authentic and delicious Moroccan food which we highly recommend. Both the shrimp mango salad and Moroccan pastille were pure bliss and the Tajines (we had cod and lamb) mouthwatering. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

We did not stay in the hotel but only had dinner at Siglunes. The dishes are wonderful but expensive. The best tagine I have eaten in my entire life. The desserts are also to die for. The atmosphere is so warm, and the vibe for pilgrim or adventurer, that Heminguay seems to be in a...
