Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Agra

CCD restaurant in Agra, situated opposite to Taj Mahal's East Gate is a premium outlet. While this restaurant excels in its aesthetics, decorations and cleanliness, their customer service needs little improvement. We went there to try out their signature Coffee, but then chose to relish a Double Paneer Sandwich too. The coffee was served in a large cup with a Heart Logo 🤍 drawn on top with cream, which surely enhanced it's looks. Sugar was provided separately alongside the beverage. The sandwich tasted good, the bread was fresh & the paneer filling was tasty. It was served with a chilli sauce sachet. Despite the positive experiences, it's important to note that they don't serve water on the table. When I asked for a glass of water, the waiter came with a Glass (without water). Then after requesting again, he brought the glass (with water). Do note that this restaurant (like all other shops/restaurants in this area) closes early, so try to come here by 7pm. I had an absolutely horrible experience while visiting CCD. I ordered two hot coffees, chilli cheese toast and a Paneer garlic toastie. The hot coffee was surprisingly not hot at all and tasted mediocre for the price being charged of around Rs 200 per coffee. The snacks were given in tiny portions and looked as well as tasted bad. They looked like they were prepared by a 5 year old. I could have made better snacks than this. The ambience was dull and boring. This place is not worth visiting at the slightest. Highly overrated...

This CCD is my favorite amongst all. Everything about this place is just fabulous. The seating are of every type and there is so many place to sit wherever you find comfortable especially near the window. The staff and of course the ambience is so nice. I always go to the place whenever i visit that side of the city like it's just compulsory to go there. The seating outside the cafe are really nice when it's raining outside and you're just sitting there watching it. I'll recommend this place...
