CHHAT-OVER THE TOP — Restaurant in Agra

Chhat is a very popular rooftop in Agra. It is the place which provide good food and cheap liquor. Food is pretty worthy of the amount it is given for. You can hang out with friends, you can drink and eat under a budget. It also provide some cozy space for a date as well. The place is moderately good. Ambience is okay. The food is not upto the mark and Italian cuisine doesn't taste very authentic. The service is good though. Okay for a light evening out. Some of the highlights and uniqueness of the cafe what we felt are the water resistance Dome setup which is a 1st in Agra, most admired View of the Taj, Cabana’s where one has a control of the music right in the hands, Led lighting Hukka’s but Hookah wasn't that good!! They can work on it and make it better. Service people were good!! Overall good aura. , fire shots and the list is endless guys.

Small but still spacious. Do make a call or booking before going. The bands that come are nice. At first it has a wonderful view,an amazing tasty food, servant over there is very cooperative and polite. It's a really nice place to hang out with family or friends. A place you can't missout if you are in Agra. Have visited it thrice and i must say that there food is very tasty also the ambience is the best you could ask for Visit the place to get amazed.

The food quality is just a notch above average but the serving size is really good. The quality of service is pathetic - they brought a beer which was not chilled but wanted us to add ice to it. Nevertheless, the service staff is courteous but didnt know the availability of food items in the menu. We ordered few snacks but the attendant came back twice asking us to order something else as the same was unavailable.

The Ambience is pretty good especially the iglo shaped sitting that is equipped with fantastic air conditioner as well as clubbed with sound system where you can actually increase or decrease the volume to your taste. But one thing which I felt is questionable is the cleanliness. They can really work upon the cleanliness and hygiene.

One thing I believe which the owners should really work upon is the entry at GF level. It is so shoddy that while entering we questioned our decision to visit this place and the lift is pathetic that will shut at lightening speed which may hurt somebody.

I recently visited this place and had a very negative experience. The server waiting my table was not well acquainted with the policies of the restaurant and was unwelcoming/rude. I ordered a Chinese Sizzler which can be customized by adding any 4 Chinese dishes of your choice from the menu. I had chosen Spring Rolls, Honey Chilli Potato, Veg Dim Sums and Veg Manchurian. The Spring Rolls and Dim Sum were so greasy that all you could taste was oil. They did not serve any dips/sauces for the Dim sum and Spring Rolls (except ketchup). I mean how are you supposed to have Dim Sums without that spicy chilli dip. All the items of the Chinese Sizzler lacked flavour and seasoning. Honey Chilli Potato was very bland lacking salt and adequate flavour of honey and chilli. The Manchurian balls were so dense that it was even difficult to cut through them or even chew them.
