The hostel is 2 minutes walk from Taj Mahal. I enjoy their tasty meals at their rooftop cafe & restaurant with a stoning view of Taj Mahal.
Their personal is very welcoming and gave me the best tips to move around the old city by my own. They helped me to plan my visit to the Taj Mahal, Red fort, Baby Taj, Jama Masjid Mosque and the 2 bazars.
They also offered bus and train booking services, as private cars if you prefer, to facilitate your next city to be visited. And can also help you get a Tuk Tuk ride, with local prices to go to the bus station.
They own a small jewelry shop where I got silver, quartz and the typical Indian stone “Star of India”, with the best prices at the market. They can also help you to find the best money change in town.
They provide cooking classes for very modest prices and, I was able to get a home made masala with the typical 25 spices, all grinder at home!!
I really enjoyed my stay, they make me feel at home. I ended my stay with an amazing henna design on my hands, made by Kajal, the Nicky’s wife, both owners of the hostel.
The rooms are basic but clean, just part of the amazing indian experience. Basically more than enough. The best price-quality ratio.
They don’t try to cheat you, they are honest and humble offering you what they have, no...

Specialities are made to order in the morning for lunch or in the afternoon for dinner if you want to try something especially authentic (his friend made a superb butter chicken for me for a very good price for lunch and a very tasty biryani for dinner). You can enjoy all of this on the rooftop with a totally clear and unobstructed view of the Taj Mahal and even see some monkeys playing around on other rooftops. The room is very comfortable too for only 500 rupees. This was a truly unforgettable experience....
Read moreStayed here for a couple nights, they have a wonderful homestay, great service quality for a good budget. Clean bathrooms, comfortable rooms and great food. The family running the place can arrange anything for you, they have a shop of the same name close to the east entry of Taj Mahal and can get you great stuff. The view of Taj Mahal from their roof is incredible, you see the entirety of the main building! A lot of places advertise Taj view but this truly justifies that. I had a...
