My recent visit to the Taj Mahal on a weekday was an awe-inspiring experience! The intricate details and sheer scale of this architectural marvel are truly breathtaking. However, even on a weekday, there were queues, so be prepared for them to be even longer on weekends and holidays. Here are some helpful tips for your visit: * Tickets: Purchase your tickets online or at the window beforehand. Entry without a ticket is not possible. * Cost: The garden entry fee for Indians is ₹50, with an additional ₹200 for the museum. * Shoe Covers: Disposable shoe covers are mandatory for entering the monument. Buying them inside will cost you an extra ₹10, so consider purchasing them beforehand. * Parking: Cars cannot go within 1 km of the Taj Mahal. Park your car in the designated parking area and take a golf cart ride to the monument for an additional ₹20 per person. Overall Experience: Despite the queues and additional costs, visiting the Taj Mahal is an unforgettable experience. The beauty and historical significance of this monument make it a must-see for any visitor to India. Additional Tips: * Wear comfortable shoes as there will be some walking involved. * Carry a hat and water bottle as the weather can get hot. * Be respectful of the monument and other visitors. I hope this review helps you plan your visit to the Taj Mahal!

This Taj Nature Walk covers a vast land area... However there is no security anywhere inside, so be alert with your belongings... We didn't find any drinking water facility anywhere inside, so carry your own bottles... I will not recommend to visit this place during the harsh summer and humid days, however summer evenings will give you a better experience... We have witnessed Monkeys and Peacocks inside. Their are some benches provided to take rest. Few spots are really beautiful, so don't judge and keep walking all through... There is a Shah Jahan View point and also a Mumtaj View point from where the magnificent Taj Mahal is visible. There are swings and a beautiful green meadow which is wonderfully captured in photos. In this regard, let me mention that DSLR camera is not allowed inside, so if you have one, you need to submit it at the entry desk. Entry fee is 50 rupees per person, there is concession for senior citizens. Kids below 5 years of age get free entry. Children will find a good amount of playful equipments inside. Overall, it is a nice quiet place to pay a visit if you have enough time in your hand to spend. But be alert and keep yourself safe...

The Taj Nature Walk is an under-rated gem in Agra. It consists of forest land, with hiking trails among dense wood, packed with a good deal of birds (not any that I could identify). But a fine place to walk around (especially in the mild December sunshine) and enjoying the bird calls drifting in the midst of trees. There are designated look out points from where the Taj can be well seen, including benches to park oneself. I would say one hour is the bare minimum. But there are some off-beat paths that go deeper into the woods. There are washrooms in the main area, including an open lawn, ideal for picnics and even some swings for the children. It is interesting that this nature spot is so close to the Taj and easily accessible from the Taj East Gate Road. I confess the entry ticket is no longer in my memory but it was completely worth what this place has to offer. Bonus point was that it was not crowded, unlike the hordes of visitors (local and international) at the Taj Mahal.

Well as Taj is to Agra this place equally deserves to be the better half of Agra... Not because it has another Taj here but because it provides a non cliche viewpoint to our world heritage site.. and that too you can enjoy peacefully away from the tourist crowd that Taj experiences day in and day out ...This nature walk stays true to its name not only because of the greenary that's well maintained but also because sometimes .. more often actually peacocks accompany you on your walk here.. we must have spotted not less than 20 peacocks in the compound and if you aren't a noise maker they might even show you some mercy by opening their wonderful feathers and feature a dance ..! They charge you some minimal to enter into this eco zone but it is a delight to find such an interesting spot in the same vicinity as that of Taj .

Beautiful.... No words to express.... One should must carry an umbrella if visiting during day time. ₹ 40 is the entry fee for park and ₹ 200 for mausoleum.Ticket should be booked online to avoid long queues. Mini tajmahal and meena bazaar is situated 1 km away from from tajmahal. Prices of all the items are over charged and fixed rate. Better to buy from shops outside tajmahal as One can bargain and buy at much cheaper rate. One can take horse cart to visit there.. They charge ₹ 50 for two person to n fro. One can take shared electric vehicles available from parking zone to tajmahal entrance gate.

Situated east of the Taj. A nice peaceful walkway through greenery. The ticket counter does not have UPI or card payment so carry cash!! This was surprising for a govt facility in today's India! The so called view points from where the Taj were supposedly visible were a let down as it is far awsy and one could barely see the dome. The pathway is well laid out with benches for seating at regular intrevals. A few well maintained lawns and a small cafeteria. Good for a peaceful walk amomgst nature but nothing more...
