Best food + coffee in Agra - with a view! The service from the moment you enter is top notch, all the staff and especially Rahul makes sure that you feel welcomed, your needs are met and you get honest recommendations based on your wishes. We came here after a beautiful visit to Taj Mahal for a much needed coffee + lunch, and we ended up staying several hours until sunset! We just sat and enjoyed the view of Taj Mahal, with the rooftops in the foreground. As time progressed we also ended up sharing a glass of wine and it was a super cozy way to end the day’s exploration. The food was fantastic, we needed a break from curries so we went for the fried rice, which was both fresh, tasty and plenty big! Overall we HIGHLY recommend going here. We even came for breakfast the day after and it was also fantastic! It feels like a bargain for the quality of service, food and drink you get :)

Chia Taj View Cafe is perfect -- delicious, refreshing food and drinks with one of the best views of Taj in the city, with staff that are kind, genuine and will quickly make you feel at home. Arun was literally the first person I met in Agra, by chance. He was a great help, and truly takes pride in assisting travelers. I was tired after a long ride, so the delicious coffee and banana lassi followed by a cucumber detox drink to recover were lifesavers. Ajay makes great drinks, and Rohit's service was top notch. All great guys. I'll be back, and I feel confident recommending to anyone. Atmosphere is perfect any time of day, and the value is good for the price. Thank you Chia Taj View... See you again!

Really lovely cafe with good selection of food and drink. Their coffee is proper Italian coffee made by machine and is a great way to start your day. The decor inside is beautiful, with hand painted walls and a mural befitting the place. The view of the Taj Mahal is also brilliant! Edited as sadly I went the following day and it was not the same vibe. The manager didn’t seem to be there and the experience was not the same. We were a group of five and while the food was good, we had to ask for missing items from the dishes and when it came to pay, only one of us was charged a service charge? Also worth noting to take good change as they didn’t seem to have much available which made splitting the bill to pay a little difficult.

After an exhaustive morning at the Taj, I searched and came at this cafe in taxi. There was space vacant, but it seemed the three of us who entered here were invisible ! No one looked at us forget attending. I stopped an uncle who was in rush to serve their favourite clients : the foreigners ! He bluntly told yours will take time, after them (pointing at a table who also were waiting for their order). Further i tried to approach anyone to atleast attend us to give order. But to no avail. Perfect example of Indian slave mentality ! I immediately stood up and went out. Btw, what's with a cappuccino priced at the same price you get at Blue Tokai at Connaught place Delhi !!??

This is a hidden gem. Immediately when I walked in I was greeted by Sanjeev who is a legend, and the rest of the staff is equally as accomodating. Everybody is so nice and goes out of their way to help you and make you feel at home, the customer service is 11/10. Then there is the food, the food was so delicious, we ate here for three meals in a row. The coffee is absolutely delicious, a rare find in India. And then the Chai of course is amazing. Now let me tell you about the view. Whether you sit on the roof top or inside the fire of the Taj is stunning. It’s so close it feels like you can touch it. Overall this place made our brief stay in Agra so much more pleasurable.

Cool place to have another stunning view at the Taj Mahal. This place has a lot of potential! We had a breakfast their including americano, water cooked porridge, fruit salad, aloo paratha, walnut bread and pakora of mixed veg. We were happy that we could negotiate some vegan options. The Aloo Paratha was out favourite. It’s a pity that the service is a bit slow, forgets orders (not just ours), men’s bathroom broken, and some of the food wasn’t as tasty as we were wishing. The papaya in the fruit salad was a bit tasteless, porridge needed some more sugar and the pakora could need a bit of spice as well. I hope our review is constructive feedback for the place.
