Taj Terrace — Restaurant in Agra

We went there looking for a terrace to have dinner, but the experience wasn't good. We ordered three dishes: one that I don't remember but it wasn't tasty, some pakoras that weren't fried, but reheated, and a mutton kebab that we had to return because it smelled like bad food. We informed them and they took the dish away. Also, they offered to bring other chicken dishes, but we declined the offer. Then the manager came asking again what the problem had been, that according to them the dish was fine... Luckily, the service was very good and attentive and later when we asked for the bill they didn't charge us for the service or the dish that we said to take away. Even so, we saw how they insistently asked the tourists there to please put a good review here on Google... I imagine that this place thrives on tourists who don't know what they are eating, but you can't serve that kind of food. So this will not be good, except for the service...

The food is absolutely delightful, complemented perfectly by the live musical performances by versatile singers. The staff is exceptional, especially Hakim Singh, who goes above and beyond to suggest the best dishes and ensure you enjoy the full spectrum of flavors. Chef parsotam ji culinary creations are nothing short of spectacular—his dishes are truly finger-licking good. The ambiance, combined with the exceptional service and mouth-watering delicacies, makes for an unforgettable dining experience. SUMMARY: Best restaurant of the four I visited in Agra. Great quality food for the price and setting.

Ambiente: ** nice terrace with a fountain. While I was there a band started playing which was a nice bonus. You can climb a tower for a view of Taj Mahal (which you can also see from the main terrace).

Service: * attentive friendly staff and quick service.

Food: * The Paneer Makhani I ate was nicely spiced and the paneer exceptionally soft and tasty. At a price of just over 300 rupees (which most restaurants charge in the area for a main) the quality of food was well above the competition.
