I went here because of the reviews. The staff is very nice but the menu is overpriced and doesn’t taste good at all. The milk seems to be diluted in water, so is the coffee even though I strongly asked for an espresso (short & strong). Toast is not good at all also. The only thing ok was the omelet.

Apart from the wonderful and very friendly service offered by the owners we were disappointed with the food served. Apologies to the owners but the food was very ordinary...we only had a few dishes for dinner - butter roti and aloo paratha which were not too bad, but the Kashmiri Dum Aloo had such a watery gravy when accompanied by watery plain rice it was just a totally watery tastless mess on the plate. Also the potatoes were very raw in the middle but the owner told us that this is way it is served so the potatoes are not too soft - but really they weren't cooked properly. Without having read other reviews we might not have tried this place, but we were so glad we did. This is one of the places where you get really good, freshly prepared food at a really good price. The people are really friendly and hospitable. It is one of the places were you genuinely feel that, as a tourist, you are not getting ripped-off. This also extends to the shop next door which belongs to the coffee. You can calmly browse through their good without feeling rushed and the prices are printed/written on each product.
