The Tasty Bite Restaurant — Restaurant in Agra

I had a terrible experience here. Went in for lunch this afternoon. Place looks decent , reasonably priced menu and friendly staff. We ordered 2 Lime Sodas, Paneer Pasanda with Butter Roti and one Special Vegetarian Thali. All the dishes were delicious, good portion size and decent quality so food wise it was a nice experience. When I asked for the Bill, they gave me a torn bill stating that it happened by mistake but everything is correct. Felt little dubious so I checked the bill. They priced almost everything more than the actual amount written on the menu. Lime Soda in menu 50 INR, then wrote in the bill as 80 INR Paneer Pasanda was written 350 INR when it was 250 INR Butter Roti was written 30 INR instead of 20 INR Veg Thali was written 410 INR when it was 300 INR. Told them the same and the girl said ‘oh sorry I think there was a mistake, please don’t tell my manager about it, we’ll get scolded’. I asked her to give me the menu and saw that I was correct, then she says ‘sorry I think it’s a wrong menu’. Entire thing was a mess. I don’t know who was with her in this but she tried to scam me really bad but she was unfortunate today. I asked them to give me a correct bill again. Then entire amount came down to 777 INR from 1140 INR. I literally was surprised that how people can be so cheap and mean with such things. The restaurant serves good food and has got nice reviews but they’re doing such thing and ruining the reputation. One of the most pathetic food experience that I ever had, horrible.

After Taj visit, I went to this restaurant as this is very first restaurant at at East gate.

Trust me once I gone through menu card I realised that I am at totally wrong place. All the ala carte gravy 400-600 range. Biryani 550+.

First we ordered manchawo soup which was not actually soup ... there own homemade recipe. Mutter was also there and it was more like Chinese gravy than soup.

Then I ordered biryani gravy combo. I was been told that this is biryani+ gravy combo so I ordered roti as well where waiter supposed to tell me that it's biryani gravy not seperate gravy. Chicken was having smell. Looks lime everyday they have new footfall so they don't bother about customer reviews.

Trust me either above positive reviews must be fake or paid as this was not at all tasty.

Please please avoid...one of the worst dinner I ever had.

With a quick visit at this place it wasn't thought to judge this place might be good for a quick bite, But if you have a lunch in mind, BEWARE of the the THALI, ( both deluxe and Supreme) both have the Dal and Sabji (vegetable), but the quantity of the same shall be alarming, ita literally 2spoons of both, Also the salad provided by them is 2 pc of onion and a quarter lemon pc In terms of the Quantity served the place is quite a disappointment. Service is super fast, in terms to serve you bill, upon ordering food, you may get food and it's bill together.
