Barkaas Arabic Restaurant the name itself gets you some good vibes about drool worthy food. Starting with the ambiance it has great lanterns and tent's like roofing just to make you feel like you're in a proper Arabian restaurant there are two kinds of seating facilities one is of couches spread on the floor with a centre table on which the thali of Mandi will be served and the second type of seating is the usual dinner table but if you what to enjoy the food in to the utmost level with that feel of an Arabian then you should opt for the 1st seating style. This restaurant is pretty famous here in Vijayawada so we decided to try them out as we entered we were received in a pleasing way the staff were very nice to us well mannered all credits goes to the management for hiring such great staff and maintaining restaurant in such a good way and after a wait of 10 mins we ordered Dajaj BBQ Mandi single which costed rs 229, be it single or full Mandi is actually served in a huge thali this single plate made it messy for us to eat ( a point where I felt this has to be changed) coming back to the food it had three kinds of chutney Raita ,Tomato, mirchi ka saag and then a tangy chutney .The rice was topped with salad which had slices of cucumber, carrot & onion each and not to forget the Cashew nuts and fried onions garnished with coriander leaves the BBQ chicken was perfect so juicy, a perfect blend of masala's and tenderness rice was also good but it wasn't hot enough maybe it was already made that's the reason it wasn't hot enough when served one thing which I really loved about this place is the architecture the lanterns the wall hangings everything seemed to be perfect 😊 waiting to visit...

Barkaas is a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant with a Arabic theme. Located amongst the food hub of Marathahalli, it still stands out of the crowd. Interiors are beautifully done with an Arabic feel. Nice lighting and interesting cushioned seating on the floor. It was lunch time and we were a huge group. Coming to the food now. We started off with a green apple mocktail which was refreshing. Following were the items that were truly a delight for the tongue: ✅Caesar Salad: very cruncy and juicy. Presented beautifully and had a very big portion. Tasted good. ✅Arabian Special Fish: It was an amazing starter, something like a fish cutlet. Prepared with perfection and is a must try out here. ✅Hummus with Falafel: Falafel was about average but the hummus was of authentic taste. ✅Chicken Shawarma: One of the best shawarma in town. 10 on 10 to it! ✅Mandi- It was a huge one. Can be sharedby 5 ppl . This is actually an Arabic form of Biryani. It can be of chicken as well as mutton. Both were excellent! Again a must try. ✅Dessets: We tasted Kaddu a kheer, Shahi Tukda and Kunafa in desserts out of which I found the Shahi Tukra the best. ✅Fruit Beer: They also serve non alcoholic fruit beer priced at Rs 110 and comes in various flavours.
