Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Andhra Pradesh

I had an extremely disappointing experience at CCD, RK beach branch, Vizag, recently. We ordered a filter coffee, Devil's Own, and a brownie, and unfortunately, none of the items met even the basic standards you'd expect from a brand like CCD.

First, the filter coffee was served cold when it was supposed to be hot. The Devil's Own, usually a signature item, was an absolute disaster. It was overloaded with ice and cream, and there was hardly any coffee taste left. The presentation was so lackluster that it felt more like something you'd get from a local street-side café—one that would at least serve a better coffee. The brownie, too, was served cold—just disappointing since it should've been heated before serving.

When we brought these issues to the staff's attention, the response was even worse. The lady who took the coffee away only added a couple of coffee beans on the cold coffee and reheated the same filter coffee. It was as if no effort was made to rectify the problem properly. To top it off, when I confronted a male staff member about the rude handling of the situation, his response was appalling. He seemed to think that because the coffee was worth Rs. 220, there was no need to waste it, even though it was served improperly. His rude remarks were completely unnecessary, and had the same attitude and manner to speak to the elders at my table.and to make matters worse, he had no remorse about the poor service.

Overall, the staff at this branch was unprofessional and disrespectful, and the food quality was far below expectations. This experience has left a very bad impression, and I won't be returning...

Very disappointed by the heights of shamelessness their staff can go. After I ordered my coffee i tried to pay for it through phonepay which got stuck and did not go through at that time so the staff suggested that i pay by some other method and if that payment goes through i will gat my refund, i did the same i paid by cash,the staff gave me his number to call if the payment went through so that he can refund me and later the payment did go through and when i call him he said he is gonna check and call back which never happened I called again and again and he was not answering.then I visited this horrible cheating place again and showed them my payment details on my phonepay i asked them that if you can’t refund i will order something and you can manage in that to that the staff replies that it doesn’t happen like that we will have to confirm the payment details from the owner we will send yoi the refund after confirmation ,its been more than a month i have called the place several time and as soon as i ask about my refund the staff hangs up. I recently visited the CCD outlet at Waltair Road with my wife and had an extremely unpleasant experience. My wife had ordered a slice of cheese cake from the restaurant which left her with food poisoning. It was a harrowing experience for her. We were extremely disappointed with the kind of food hygiene that was being maintained at this place.

The general hygiene of this place is very poor. The tables were messy and the floors unclean. There were food stains all over the floor.

We had heard a lot of good things about CCD's food and drinks, but our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. The fact that my wife had to suffer through food poisoning after having something as simple as a slice of cheese cake is unforgivable. We strongly urge anyone planning to visit this particular outlet to think twice before doing so. It's best to avoid this place until they step up their game and start maintaining proper...
