Majlis Darbar Arabian Cuisine Visakhapatnam — Restaurant in Andhra Pradesh

It was a very bad and terrible experience as the moment we entered we were asked how many people were we are and when we said four and one has to join in 5mins they asked go out and sit until our friend to join us. Though they asked us to get out professionally we dint. The person with white turban who has come to take the order have behaved very rudely and while we were having our food they haven't asked whether we are done or not and have given the bill and asked us to leave at 03:35 pm saying it is a closing time. I understand that we came late but it is not the right way to treat a customer. Coming to food to be very genuine starters we ordered were good but the worst part is the biryani which is of not completely cooked and it was of no taste. They gave our order quickly as they want there customers to leave quickly. Overall the worst and pathetic experience we had with zero hospitality and with zero customer satisfaction. But here this place in vizag, food doesn't justify the purpose of the visit. It was Mutton Mandi. Not that great, you can try once in your lifetime, later you'll end up reviewing like me. Expensive but taste does not justify the cost. doesn't mean im poor. But at least you need to get satisfied at the end of the day. Too much dried rice with less curry. Giving at least 3 star for the place setup and ambience only.

Lover this place.. ambience was super duper . Lot of efforts were put in to create such ambience. It's completely Arabic stay. At some point of time I was feeling like I am in some Arabic country. Good thing is they have separate seating for vegetarian and vegetarian mandis are also there. By the time we reached there restaurant was full and we were given waiting cards they generally first come first serve . We have ordered tandoori chicken and mixed majilis special Mandi. Tandoori chicken was pretty good. Special Mandi was served with small portions of chicken , mutton , fish and prawns. Mandi was suitable for 4-5 people. Taste wise it's above average (8 in 10) and they accept all types of payments like gpay, cards and cash ( sometime they may say that they don't accept gpay and phonepe). Food wasn't that expensive.
