During our stay at The Park, Visakhapatnam, we decided to try their in-house restaurant, Vista, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. Located on the ground floor, the restaurant offers a tasteful ambiance with elegant décor. We were lucky to get a corner table by the glass windows, which provided a stunning view of the garden and the sea in the distance. The calming atmosphere, combined with the serene view, set the perfect tone for our dining experience. We started with a simple yet classic dish – the Cheese Chilli Toast. To our surprise, it was one of the best versions we’ve ever had. The toast came with a generous layer of creamy, melted cheese balanced with just the right amount of spice from the chillies. The cheese was soft and fresh, and the accompanying ketchup complemented the flavors beautifully. It was a great start to our meal and left us excited for what was to come. For the main course, we opted for the Paneer Tikka Biryani, and the portion size was truly impressive! The biryani bowl could easily serve three people, making it perfect for sharing. The highlight, though, was the succulent paneer cubes – incredibly soft and perfectly spiced. The flavorful basmati rice, long-grained and fragrant, paired wonderfully with the paneer, creating a truly satisfying dish. It was, without a doubt, one of the best paneer biryanis I’ve had in a long time. To end our meal on a sweet note, we ordered the Shahi Tukda Roll, which we were told is a specialty of the restaurant. This dessert was the star of our dining experience! The rolls, stuffed with delicate pistachio flavors, were dipped in rich, saffron-infused rabdi. The balance of sweetness was perfect – not too overpowering, just enough to leave you wanting more. We were so impressed that we personally thanked the chef for creating such a delightful dish. It was truly the highlight of our entire meal. The only minor drawback was the service speed, which could be improved. The biryani took around 30 minutes to arrive, and our special instructions weren’t fully followed. However, the delicious food and lovely ambiance more than made up for this. Overall, Vista at The Park exceeded our expectations with its excellent food, delightful ambiance, and scenic views. We highly recommend visiting for a memorable dining experience in Visakhapatnam!

We visited for dinner to celebrate our anniversary but experienced a bad service in vista restaurant no welcoming none of the person assisted where to sit , we found the place to sit ourself ,after sitting it took 15 to 20 mins to wait for water and to get menu , I felt personally bad in way of discriminated and partiality shown to us because in whole restaurant there was only 6 tables occupied still after giving menu no one came to take order , there are 4 girls and 2 boys in a restaurant in a whole restaurant still I don't understand why no one attended our table it is a insult for us infront of our guests the girl ASHOI we called her many times she was not responded to us but mainly focused on foreign guest sitting beside our table ,she was smiling talking nice to our beside table but with us no smile , arrogant and group talking with other staff another girl will stand beside pillar with folding hands not looking towards tables occupied. However we left the vista restaurant without eating. We tried to explore other restaurants in The park hotel went AQUA restaurant my guests were happy in poolside table even though it was busy there were only 2 staff running fast to provide best service finally we end up with pizza , pasta and few drinks . I need to appreciate the man (was height and little fatty with white checks shirt and black tie )I didn't see the name tag I think he is supervisor or manager he is courteous , polite and suggested good food and other short girl served food with smile and enjoyed music.

Located within the premises of The Park Hotel, this restaurant is known for their varieties of menu, buffet spread and culinary offerings. The ambience is superb. Ample amount of sunlight through the glass walls and stunning view of lush green spreading upto sea-line formulate a very nice axis among brain-tongue-stomach. We visited the restaurant on the eve of Onam. Traditional dishes like raw banana fry, dal vada, yam and black chana dal, beetroot thoran, brinjal curry, aviyal, ghee rice, chutneys along with payasam were served on the buffet. The preparations were flavourful and tasted unique. Few things which pinched are the delayed service, non-attendance of staffs towards requirement at the table and refilling of dishes and tariff. Considering the varieties of foods offered, the restaurant seemed to be quite overpriced. Still opting for four stars because of the dining experience the restaurant provides especially because of the decor. Overall verdict- recommended for one time visit if budget permits.

I recently visited The Park Hotel's restaurant with my sister around 2:30 PM. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by poor service. Upon arrival, we had to find our own table as there was no one to assist us. The manager greeted us and that's all. It took 20 minutes to follow up and take our order which we asked for. The restaurant wasn't full, but the staff seemed understaffed and inattentive. We had to ask multiple times for the menu card, and even then, it took 15 minutes to receive it. After ordering, we waited another 20 minutes and asked the manager who was available there for when we will get our food. The manager khushi then came to us to inform us that one of the dishes was unavailable. So we ordered something else in place of the unavailable dish. Like can't just anyone tell us about that ??? We had to request for the delay and then they go saying this. We had to call them multiple times to take our order and refill our glasses. The food arrived at 3:30 PM, an hour after we ordered, and the staff didn't even offer to serve us. We were disappointed by the lack of hospitality and attention to detail. Despite being hungry and finishing our meal, no one checked on us to see how everything was going.

To make matters worse, after completing our meal, we had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the bill, which we had to request. When we received the bill, we were shocked to see that we were being charged for the dish that the manager, khushi, had previously informed us was unavailable. We had not ordered this dish, but the same amount was being charged. When I questioned the manager about the error, she realized her mistake and apologized. However, my sister had already paid the bill. The manager then attempted to justify the mistake by suggesting that we could use the excess amount (Rs. 1400) to order something else, as she couldn't return the money. I was appalled by her audacity and lack of accountability. I requested to speak to the main manager, but she claimed he was in a meeting and when we insisted on why she can't return our money and why do we have to pay for the mistake of hers. After explaining and making her understand she offered to return the money from her own pocket. The excuse she used was the billing person isn't available so the mistake happened. I mean what kind of poor excuse is that. They had 2 hours of time but still got the billing wrong I mean what kind of process is that. This was a belated attempt to rectify the situation, and I was still dissatisfied with the service. The restaurant's inability to assist customers and take responsibility for their mistakes is unacceptable. Overall The staff at The Park Hotel's restaurant displayed a concerning lack of responsibility and care for their customers. From the initial lack of assistance to the billing error, their actions showed a clear disregard for providing a positive dining experience. The attempt to shift the blame and suggest using the excess amount to order more food, rather than taking immediate action to correct the mistake, is a stark example of their irresponsible behavior. This lack of accountability and customer-centric approach is disappointing, especially from a hotel of...
