Aqua @ The Park Visakhapatnam — Restaurant in Andhra Pradesh

Am a regular to this restaurant which is in The Park chain of hotels. The best part of this place is the ambience along with the mesmerising smell of oven fresh pizza. As far as Visakhapatnam is concerned this place by far serves the best Pizza in the entire city. Might be due to the fact that there is no one else who cook pizza starting from the dough to the oven post ordering. Earlier there used to be a place called Double Roti which did the same thing and the food there too was good but Aqua steals the show as far as Pizza is concerned. Notwithstanding that, the restaurant needs to finesse their preparations of other Italian dishes like lasagne and spaghetti Aglio-e-Olio. In case of aglio-e-olio there was a slight bitterness in the sauce suggesting that the garlic was bit overcooked. Nevertheless the vegetables (though not an ingredient in the authentic recipe ergo AGLIO E OLIO) was perfectly done. Just a suggestion, the fact that a lot of restaurants in India are seen "experimenting" with the originals and blending it to local palate is fine or can be tolerated at times but I sincerely feel that places of taste should maintain the originality of the taste. This greatly helps people like me who have very less knowledge, to don the skills of an admirer with understanding. Hope that this place keeps entertaining the foodies of vizag with great panache. Absolutely delighted with my experience at Aqua Park Vishakapatnam! The ambiance was captivating, and the water attractions were a perfect blend of thrilling and relaxing. Firstly, for a 5 star place. Who gives a tattered and torn menu is beyond me. Secondly, the food is atrocious. Went for the wood fired pizza. Ordered a margherita pizza. Who in the mad world adds raw tomato slices to margherita pizza. The cheese was cold. The crust was uncooked and soft. I just ate two slices and threw them away. Charged over 680 plus taxes rupees. The second pizza i ordered was reheated and not made fresh. Ohh did i mention they took over an hour to prepare this! Avoid it...
