I recently visited Absolute Barbecue this week in November to celebrate my birthday. The birthday celebration itself went well — the staff made it special and handled it nicely. However, I was quite disappointed with several aspects of the overall experience. Firstly, the service quality was poor. We had to call the staff repeatedly for orders, and even then, they often forgot or delayed bringing what we asked for. I requested cold water in my drink around six to seven times, and only after repeatedly asking did they tell me that cold water wasn’t available — instead, they offered ice cubes. That was quite disappointing and felt very unprofessional. Next, talking about the starters, there weren’t enough options. They only served chicken, prawns, mushrooms, watermelon, paneer, chicken leg pieces, potatoes, and one or two more items. The grilled corn was good, but they should have included fish as well. Another major letdown was that no complimentary drinks were provided — we had to pay extra for any kind of beverage, which was unexpected at this price point. Coming to the main course, there was not enough variety — only around 4 to 5 types of dishes were available. The taste was just average and not up to the mark, especially considering the price (₹880 per person). We visited around 9:30 PM, and it seemed like many dishes were either finished or not properly refilled. Overall, the main course was quite disappointing and lacked options. As for the desserts, they were also underwhelming — very limited items and nothing particularly tasty or appealing. Overall, it was a bad experience, and I don’t plan to visit Absolute Barbecue again. I would recommend going to Pirates of Grill or Barbeque Nation instead — both offer better service, more variety, and tastier food...
Read moreVisited this place on my birthday. When we arrived we were escorted to our table by a stewardess. The table given to us at first had torn up seats , but they immediately changed our table. We were readily greeted by a steward and our grill was prepared by the chef and we were served the starters. The starters were good the barbecue chicken and all the roasted items were on par taste. Notable starter I personally loved was the American cheese potato it was delicious. The prawns were one of the best in the starters and the chicken was tender and delicious too. Apart from the starters the items in the main course were quite less compared to what I saw on their menu a few days ago , they only had chicken for the non veg in the main course, mutton and other exotic meats were missing. The live counter also had less items on the menu only 3 types of chats were available and that too were not that good. The sea food bowl served had pretty less quantity of squid and octopus giving us too much onion and cabbage. The white sauce pasta tasted bland could have been better . The main course items that were tasty are paneer butter masala, butter chicken, veg Manchurian, egg dum bhurji, etc. The dessert section too lacked variety on our visit. The custard had very overwhelming taste not at all good . The brownie, chocolate cake , phirni , ice creams were good. The best among them being the chocolate brownie. Well the overall experience was mid some places they could improve like the menu items were too less , the wait time for some ordered dishes . Anyways the hospitality was good thumbs...
Read moreFor starters on the grill for Non Veg they served BBQ Fish, BBQ Prawns, BBQChicken and the other Non veg starters were Mutton Sheekh Kabab, Tangdi Chicken, Crispy Corn and Cajun Potato. For Veg they serve Mushroom BBQ, Pineapple BBQ and Paneer BBQ. All the starters were really appetizing and unique to each other. My favorites were the BBQ Fish, Mutton Seekh Kabab and Prawns.
For starters there's also Red Snapper Fish, Tuna Fish, Duck, Shark, Rabbit and Quil Bird with a choice of your own additional spices and flavours.
Coming to the main course the menu consisited of Chicken Dum Briyani,Naan, Kosha Mutton, Spicy Chicken Curry , Egg Curry, Fish and Prawns were also there. Vegetarian options was also there which includes Veg Biryani, Hakka Noddles, Special Dal, Paneer etc. The Briyani served was not really upto the mark.
Finally coming to desserts even though I was really full I had to try out the different types of Jamun Cheese Cake, Phirni , Rasmalai they served along with an extensive choice of cakes, sweets and icecreams.
The service is really great and fast and the waiters are really well mannered and they provide every information about the food you want. We got served by the famous viral dancing sensation Surajit who hails from Tripura told us the story how he started dancing by just watching YouTube videos. When I told him about the Biryani's taste he went straight to the kitchen and then made me another plate of Biryani which tasted better than what was served.
Overall a really good value for money restaurant to go and enjoy...
