overall, I would say it's a nice place to visit, but there are some cons. here's a list:
pros: cute seating, both indoors and outdoors, with seasonal decor (I saw christmas decorations when I went) books!! there is a bookshelf and a shelf for board games, as well. the book that I chose to read was 'lord of the flies' by William Golding the food is good, and there are many options. I had a non-veg fettuccine pasta with white sauce, and it was delicious. it's a quiet place. at least when I visited, there were not many other people around, and I enjoyed a tranquil time
cons: the service is a little slower as compared to other restaurants in general. though I do think that the solitude the place offered me was worth it there is not much variety in the available books, and there is only one bookshelf. if you happen to like them, that's great, but there is not a large selection to choose from. some of the seats/sofas have considerable stains and thus appear a bit dirty. the music they played the whole time was just pop music that was popular a few years ago and is now annoying to listen to. I get that not everyone has the music taste, so that's fine if someone happens to like it. the pasta I got (as mentioned above) was comparatively small in portion, and made me need another dish. I ordered the bbq chicken burger next, and though it was alright, I wouldn't call it good. it was also difficult to eat, one of the reasons being that the bun was crumbly the writings/slogans around the walls of the place are veryy cheesy. I know that's just because that's what's probably popular, but I didn't like it regardless. there is not a lot of parking space around; we had to park a bit far down the street.
that's all! P.S. if you plan on going, I read on the menu that you can get a free latte for donating...
Read moreHad a horrifying experience at this god forsaken cafe last week. For starter, the steward who took our order, seemed stoned. After 20 min we had to remind him again. Then after waiting for an hour, another person came with the sandwich (they mentioned a fancy name of grilled potato sandwich) but what came was a normal alu pitika sandwich with chillies thrown in. Then after waiting 1.5 hours of ordering, came our chicken roll, or so we thought. After taking a bite and gulping down the same, I was shocked to find something odd - it happened to be a pork roll!!! And I have never taken pork my entire life. I was short of throwing up but what tested my patience and temper was that the steward claims and insists that we ordered pork roll.
I hope the proprietor of this cafe takes out his precious time to go through these reviews and takes corrective action. Otherwise it wont be long before we sigh and say "Another one bites the dust"!!
Service was pathetically slow and attitude of the servers were "out of...

This place is damn pretty with both inside and outside sitting area. The decors and the ambience are really amazing. The food and the drinks were also very fresh and yummy!! You can enjoy the food with some good books and free wifi. Along with the positive staff, they have a huge menu ... Prices are also moderate, full value to the money and totally worth to try!! . . We had a burger, a chicken pizza and two drinks over there and all were absolutely delicious!! We liked the pizza very much.. The burger was also delicious but the patty was too chewy!! . . Overall it's a very good place for hangouts with your friends and loved ones. . . . At last, Kudos to the team Verandah and all the very best for the...
