Kiranshree Sweets — Restaurant in Assam

I recently visited Kiranshree Sweets and Snacks Restaurant twice, and I must say—it has been my best experience in Guwahati so far when it comes to food!

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by their prompt and courteous service. Every order was delivered quickly, and the staff was polite and attentive. The quality of the food is top-notch—fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, and perfectly cooked dishes that truly stand out.

Whether you're craving fast food, sweets, snacks, or a proper meal, Kiranshree delivers on all fronts. The portions are generous, and the pricing is genuine and pocket-friendly, making it a great value for money.

Kiranshree was one exclusive sweet corner in Guwahati when it started off. But gradually some deterioration has caught my eye, and the most recent incident is that I bought a box of 10 Rasgullas and was surprised to find that the size has decreased to almost half the original though the taste is fine. And to top it the prices have increased from 150 bucks to 160 bucks for a pack of ten.

Agreed that material prices have gone up but 1 rupee per Rasgulla makes it 10 rupees per box with almost half the content of the original !!

Another incident during Diwali also was not digestible.....Gift boxes of sweets of different combinations were on display, yet when I asked for my choice of gift packing, items of my choice were not available and one had no other option than to just buy whatever was in store, at quite a price which may not fit one's budget... this I feel is a business strategy to fool the customers.

This is not expected from a joint like Kiranshree...... a landmark in Guwahati. Hope this catches the...

no wonder the food is awesome, Great taste , greate interior, everything is just in place. in terms of food it is one of the best restaurants i have visited so far, i have not given 5 star because of the staff...the staff were not polite infact they didnot even bother to serve it well and were talking of taking huge amount of tips for serving the group that we had...though they did not tell us directly but were loud enough for us to hear..and it was very awkward. i liked the food but i will never visit it agn for the sole reason of improper service...not everyone is rich there are different circumstances...just wen evrythn went well at d last d mood was spoiled..even if you are talking you shouldnt be demanding or behave that way. the food was good &the price was paid... you're service was not upto the mark so you were not. Go &visit if you are only interested in food and not in the service...but if u want both than better skip it...its...
