THE WORST EXPERIENCE! Waste of money!!! ROTTEN PANEER & DUPE LIITs
I visited POG when it first opened and liked it very much then (never visited again) but always wondered why the overall ratings are just 3 until I visited yesterday (17th May, 2025) and I get it why. Infact, it should be rated 1 !! People go to such buffets in a branded restaurant to get a good ambience and quality food that is tastier and hygienic too, right? But guess what we got ? The paneer (cottage cheese) served to us during the starters were rotten inside. To be precise, it had BLACK MOLD inside one piece of paneer that clearly indicated spoilage. Upon calling the waiters, managers and the chef they were too casual about it and said it was just the coal from the skewer ! FUNNY, because even if we consider that black colour would appear exactly where the paneer was pierced by the skewer, but that mold wasn’t in the hole, instead it was towards the extreme sides of the paneer. We didn’t ask for any compensation, and they just continued to ask if we wanted another batch of paneer. We were frustrated and grossed out already enough to eat any of those ! And there was absolutely no sense in them to offer us any other compensation too. So what should we, as customers figure out?
They did serve us rotten paneer and when we “thankfully” saw it after already consuming 7-9 pieces, we called them out, they clearly disregarded the fact that black mold can produce MYCOTOXINS which are downright POISONOUS substances and one can get seriously sick if consumed ! It could have harmed us seriously if we had consumed without cutting the piece of paneer.
WHO KNOWS HOW MUCH OLDER FOOD THEY ARE SERVING CUSTOMERS ON A DAILY BASIS ??
Imagine a child consuming such rotten food? How seriously they can get sick? Or any person with a weaker digestion?
And not to mention, 2 LIITs we ordered and those tasted straight like virgins, not a hint of alcohol in them both and they are selling those for 495 INR? Is the bartender secretly filling his bottle by duping customers with namesake cocktails ? Upon calling that too, the bartender explained us the alcoholic contents of the LIIT ( it wasn’t our first LIIT in life, we have had a hell lot and no LIIT has such low alcoholic content that it will feel like nothing). We offered them to even taste it, they declined ofc they were on duty but hey is it really worth it ? NO, don’t visit if you love your money to be spent on things that won’t...
Read moreI recently visited Pirates of Grill and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. This place is perfect for parties, celebrations, or simply enjoying a delightful meal with friends and family. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a lively atmosphere that set the tone for an exciting dining adventure.
The buffet system at Pirates of Grill is exceptionally well-organized, offering a wide variety of dishes that cater to all tastes. The starters are served on skewers directly at your table, and they are nothing short of spectacular. Each skewer, from the succulent tandoori chicken to the delectable grilled prawns, is cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The vegetarian options are equally impressive, with items like paneer tikka and stuffed mushrooms stealing the show.
One of the highlights of our visit was the live grill on the table, which allowed us to customize our starters to our liking. This interactive element added a fun and unique touch to the meal. The main course spread is equally lavish, featuring a range of Indian, Asian, and continental dishes. The biryanis, curries, and noodles were particularly noteworthy, showcasing the chef's mastery in blending spices and flavors.
The dessert section is a paradise for anyone with a sweet tooth. From traditional Indian sweets to an array of pastries, cakes, and ice creams, there’s something for everyone. The chocolate fountain was a delightful treat, and we thoroughly enjoyed dipping marshmallows and fruits into the rich, flowing chocolate.
The service at Pirates of Grill is top-notch. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist, ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience. The ambiance is vibrant and inviting, making it a perfect venue for celebrations of any kind.
