Shalini's Cakes & Bakes - Main Town Outlet — Restaurant in Assam

I stay in Mumbai. I called Shalini for ordering a cake in Dekargaon, Tezpur. However, I was just inquiring whether home delivery is available or not. But she started telling me that we cannot provide you a customized cake. It will be a simple cake with a chocolate sauce on it. She did not even listen to me. She was talking on and on. I found her to be little rude. Later, I told her her that I wanted to order a cake for the next day delivery. Then she said okay you can get a customized cake. Also, she told her delivery charge will be Rs.150. which is too much for delivering to Dekargaon. Moreover, I don't think that Rs. 150 should be charged for delivery at all. M sorry to say this, but people should respect their customers and listen to them. Even I bake a cake with different designs. But since I was not in Tezpur I have to place an order. I do not have a business like Shalini as m already working. I have never come across people with such kind of behaviour. Finally I had to order a cake from Chocolate room. I got the super tasty cake.

One more thing, I wanted to tell you, instead of using chocolate sauce try using chocolate ganache. It will make your cake much more tastier and intense.

When its a birthday, the one stop destination for me is - Shalini's Cakes & Bakes. They have time and again proved to be one of the best service providers in this sector in and around Tezpur , a must say. Last year in the same day when the 1st pandemic was gradually easing out, i was in Kolkata and i was hovering options in my mobile to make a memorable birthday experience for my mother but was worried as to how to make this happen without the required help and support in my absence. And bingo, i came across Shalini's Cakes service. I called them up and asked them if they could provide all that was necessary apart from the usual cake delivery like sweets and snacks. They didn't have this service back then but still went out of the way and provided the service by arranging it from other vendors. That is their USP. You will set the bar and they strive to raise it. Thats how i was able to deliver the surprise to my mother and also celebrated the occasion even without my physical presence but yes, entirely virtually. Another Appreciation post goes to " Shalini's Cakes and Bakes" shop of Tezpur. Today was a very special day for me, so thought of giving a surprise and when we talk about surprises, Cake is the first thing that pops up in our minds. Since from last 10 days I have been a big fan of Cupcakes so i thought for it. But the problem is I stay here in Dibrugarh and the surprise needs to be in Tezpur. Here I have plenty of friends who own their own bakery shop but Tezpur is an alien city to me yet, so searched for best bakery and the first name that came to the pages was " Shalini's Cakes and Bakes". I was quite impressed by their reviews and consulted spoke about their taste, service and quality to one of my friend in Tezpur. She gave me a big thumbs up👍 and today when everyone had it, they were mesmerised by the taste💯. So thank you Shalini's Cakes and Bakes for being there and helping me from this great problem.
