Took three stars off because:

You guys don't have price tags placed before your items. That is just lazy and inconsiderate on your part.

Your staff always look like someone is asking them for the world. None of your staff at any of the outlets look welcoming to their customers, and the Chenikuthi outlet has had the same staff for over a decade, all of them wearing a poker face. And they always look irritated when asked about the products.

Your products don't have a shelf date/best-before/sell-by-date on any of the products, including the packaged biscuits/cookies, and neither do they have a FSSAI rating. Why can't you get this fixed?

Once you guys were THE bakery in town, now you're just a has-been, taken down by Loyans and home-based bakers all around you.

I hate myself for writing this review. I had grown up in the 90s in the locality , and would always look at EggOtic, a mysterious cake shop with frosted glass, and very victorian / swiss / shillong feel. I never went inside it, because I never had the allowance to go and buy anything from there. Alsoz peecieved it to be more expensive. On my recent visit to the area, now that I don't live in Ghy, I visited and packed vanilla, butterscotch, chocolate pastry. I was quite disappointed dor it seems they weren't fresh and the icing cream was heavy and not light and fluffy.

We could not finish the pastries, and had to sadly dispose them off.

I visited this place yesterday and the purchase made at Eggsotic included a chicken sandwich, two chicken chops, a chicken roll, and cream rolls, with only the chicken roll meeting expectations. The rest of the items were disappointing, with a total payment of Rs.680/- that did not justify the quality received. Despite Eggsotic's reputation as one of the best bakeries in town, the recent experience was unsatisfactory. The sandwich bread was dry and tight, indicating staleness, while the chicken chop had a pungent smell and sticky filling, suggesting it was old.
