I've eaten Davangere benne dose at the original authentic age old outlet near Dental College, Davangere and also at multiple copy outlets in Bangalore. Nothing could meet the original taste. 'Dose' Of Davangere is undoubtedly the best benne dose I've ever had in Bangalore. The taste just made me feel so nostalgic and reminded me of the days I used to ride to Goa and stop at Davangere for this tasty benne dose. I wasn't sure about this place when I came to know about it from a friend, but just wanted to give a try. It's 24kms one way from where I stay but it was 100% worth the travel! The other shopkeeper even didn't took money. For him order and customer was important. Many a times attitude matters. Think twice of going to this shop with such a attitude...

The spicy coconut chutney balances the bland potato...
