This is a second time we have been to this place and have fallen in love with it. The food is super athentic, super delicious, and a complete value for money. If you are friends you do not like vegetarian food we should be bought to this place and they will fall in love with the variety. The service is 5 star. The ambience is okay, when it is crowded it becomes really super noising that is the only drawback. The food comes quickly. All the dishes are very unique and very well prepared and very flavourful. They have conditioning hall as well as non AC hall. Parking can be a little dicy but then they have Little Space at the back where the cars can be parked.
I love the junka, and the hot hot oobatus. The Jolda roti and brinjal curry was next level. If you want to enjoy the space you need to build in a good appetite, only then you can make justice to the delicious food that has been prepared. I love the junka, and the hot hot oobatus. Read moreBasaveshwara Khanavali is a hidden gem, quietly tucked away on the busy street near Anandrao circle. This place serves authentic north Karnataka food. We went there during the lunch time and boy o boy, what a treat it was to try the full unlimited meals. The items on the menu were, Kayi Obbattu (Coconut Holige), Jowar Roti, cucumber salad, Raita, Majjige, Herakai Gravy, Channa Masala, papad, Rice, samabar, rasam, gun powder, pickle, and curds. Sumptuous menu and the food tastes absolutely amazing and it's priced well too. An unlimited meal would cost you 220/- and worth every penny you pay. The serving staff is very attentive and are on their toes to serve you hot fresh food and are enthusiastic about their job. Happy staff , Great food = Great customer experience.
Thank you for the wonderful experience, will surely come back for more.

Read moreThis restaurant is in the place of old Pai refreshments near VRL bus station. They kept the same style of food as Pai refreshments, they serve unlimited jolada rotti dinner/lunch on banana leaf. However they don't keep as great hospitality as old Pai refreshments. No holige is included in the lunch/dinner, but you can buy separately. It is Rs 250 per person. Salad, buttermilk and curd are limited.
Edit: Yesterday I visited here for a dinner. Both the service and the food quality drastically reduced. They increased the price to ₹ 270 for so called full meals. They literally push you out of the table after serving some limited food. They look at a unusual view when you ask for more food as per their unlimited servings. They get the bill even before you finish signalling we won't serve you any more. The food is not at all worth for 270. You get great food at same price in...
