Pros: Location Neat and tidy (I mean clean and hygienic) Comfortable sitting space (solid wooden furniture with upright posture - allows you to eat more, lol) Amazing Food Family friendly No liquor allowed Affordable Price (especially when you compare it with food quality and yummy taste) Right out from kitchen (Quick Service) And of'course the staff (the host as well as the Food server) are polite, friendly and happy to serve.
Cons: Well, not much that I can think of; however, honestly the restaurant might feel congested if gets crowded.
Here you go: While I have ordered from here multiple times via swiggy, this was my first experience of dinning at the restaurant. It was perfect and delicious experience, won't lie!
Restaurant is located right on the corner of the road (opposite to Ample Mart) and was not crowded when I arrived. I liked the Ambience, especially the photos on the wall (brings back the memories from my last kerala trip). Picked the menu from the counter but our server arrived immediately at the table. Unfortunately, parottas were over by the time so order butter kulcha and Nan with Paneer Tikka Masala - it was heaven. Actually, I had ordered the same menu from Swiggy but the taste which I got at the restaurant was totally different and far delicious. Kulcha and nans were soft, paneer was tender and fresh and gravy was just yummy. Sorry that I could not post the pictures😞 When you have something delicious in front of you and you are hungry then taking out the phone and taking pictures( to post on internet) is the last thing that would come to mind - at least thats the case with me. And thus, I listened to my inner voice and enjoyed the food (and then later realized-ah I could have taken some pictures lol😜)
Well I understand that taste is subjective and so is people's sense of flavor. For me, it was a 5 star experience and thus I do not want to change that impression just because there are some who may not have liked it or enjoyed it like I did. I will certainly get back to explore other items on the menu and keep my reviews up to date with that as well.
For now, I would certainly recommend the restaurant and food without a second thought. Give it a try, you never know what exactly hit your taste buds and leaves you with a delightful experience....
Read moreDuring a recent visit, I stopped by for lunch. Generally, the food quality was satisfactory, but I must highlight an issue with the mutton Biryani that I had. Unfortunately, this particular item was not up to par and seemed significantly overpriced.
The mutton Biryani left much to be desired, particularly considering its cost. It was disappointing to receive only two pieces of mutton, and to make matters worse, these pieces were comprised mainly of inedible hard bone. The lack of edible meat was a letdown and made the dish feel unsatisfying for the price paid.
For those considering having Mutton Briyani, I would recommend exploring other options. Instead of opting for the mutton Biryani, it might be a better choice to order a Biryani rice dish ( Since the Briyani rice is common across all the briyani that you order) and complement it with a separate side dish. Since this approach might lead to a more fulfilling and enjoyable...
Read moreWe had ordered for seer fish gravy and there was only one fish in it which tasted ok but the fish was immersed in the bloddy red gravy which was so spicy. Red blood in colour gravy just soaked in red chilly powder nothing else and had to pay 320 rupees for the chilly powder.
Another thing to note is that the MENU showed the gravy is 150/- but he simply charged 320/- for a single serve with red chilli powder gravy with no flavour.
We had to cool our stomach with other cool alternatives to subside the spice. I have decided not to even turn towards this chilly restaurant for ever. Its not Thalassery like what we have tasted in Bannergatta which was good. This gravy simply looks like a pickle.
Worthless restaurant for this gravy. Also the chicken dhum biryani which had the chicken was very smelly. Really dint expect this...
