Fox In The Field is one place that comes to mind for lovely Craft Beer. But did you know they have a lovely Sunday Brunch that is quite elaborate.
Ambiance The brunch is setup on the Terrace levels with elaborate sitting arrangement. One can get a view of the entire food spread along with the live counters. Loved the seating arrangement thats quite spacious. It's perfect if you take your children along, they will get to run around and have fun.
Food They have an amazing food spread with multiple dishes from Indian, Chinese, Italian and Japanese Cuisines. I experienced brunch and was quite amazed.
Multiple live Counters for Dosa, Kebabs, Sushi, Pizza, Pasta and also our favorite Indian Chats.
You can also enjoy some of your favorite Indian dishes along with Roti & Rice as well.
Drinks All of this can be enjoyed with their selection of good Craft Beers like Belgian Wit, Hafe, Red Ale, Juicy IPA or Seasonal Beer.
Overall Experience One can enjoy the brunch with family and friends as they have a separate sitting area that's quite cosy. This is one Sunday Brunch that I enjoyed after a long time for my family.
I highly recommend all of you to check out this amazing Sunday Brunch.
My rating for the brunch would be 5/5. Food - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Ambiance - 5/5 Drinks - 5/5
Food for 2 at the place will come to Rs.2-2.5k. First Review - 3 years Back Fox In The Field is one popular Microbrewery in Forum Shantinekethan Mall, Whitefield. Its setup across 4 floors and has a private lift giving access. The first two levels (on 2nd & 3rd floors of the mall) are meant for casual dining in the closed door. There is a terrace section that's meant for people who love to spend time in the open air. The terrace section is specially themed around #Bacardi that has sponsored for the floor. There is also a special amphitheater with bar & sitting options, perfect for hosting events. Each of the floors has been given unique names like related to the fox - Enter the Fox, Fox in his den, Fox on stage & Fox and the moon.
Food The food is curated by celebrated Chef Nimish Bhatia who has a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. Some of the amazing dishes I got to try to include - Paneer Makhani Naan pops, Rolled Paneer Tikka, Broccoli & Smoked Cheese in Filo pouches, Babycorn Tempura Spears, Calzone, Red rice Risotto. The presentation of every dish was just amazing and full of flavors.
Apart from the snacks mentioned above, if you are keen to get some Indian dishes like Saag Paneer, Daal Makhni, Indian bread.
It's hard to pick a favorite as every dish was just awesome. But still, a few items that I loved were the Naan pops, Broccolli Filo pouches and Paneer Tikka.
Desserts They do have some amazing desserts like Cheese Cake Gulab jamun & Rasmalai Creme brulee.
Drinks Being a microbrewery, the place offers some of the best craft beers like Midnight Fox- chocolate stout, Red fox - lager, Hefeweizen- Sly fox, Triple IPA- tipsy fox, Farmhouse fox - saison. But if you are someone who likes to try other alcohols in a mix, you can opt for some amazing cocktails like Expresso Martini, Foxy sunset (Gin based), Sangria & more.
Overall Experience This is one of the best microbreweries I have been in a while. The idea of bringing in a Masterchef Nimish Bhatia will work wonders for the place as the food is top-notch. In terms of drinks, its got some really good beers & cocktails.
I rate this place at 5/5 and feel that everyone should visit this outlet...
Read moreUpdate at the end Came here for a date with my husband. Their Sunday brunch interested me and their a la carte interested my husband. We went to this place with high expectations after hearing so much about it. However, to our blatant disappointment the staff at the entrance behaved badly with us which brought a bitter taste to the experience. They said that because they don't serve a la carte on the same level as the brunch was served, we couldn't get a table together. It was very disappointing to hear that the only way we could have eaten at this place was to eat on completely separate floors, let alone separate tables. When we asked if anything could be done to accommodate us as we were quite excited to try the food here, the person (the man who seemed like the manager and was at the entrance of the restaurant) didn't even bother looking at us or addressing us directly. He just looked at his colleague (a women hostess) and shook his head. That's all, no explanation, no accommodation and definitely no hospitality and customer service. They just turned away and began looking elsewhere rather than address us. It was very humiliating and just depressing to have experienced this. Especially when we had arrived with such high hopes. Just because we had different food preferences, we weren't allowed to sit together, not even on the same floor. I've been to and written about many many restaurants, but I've never faced this level of blatant ignorance. If any one from Fox in the Field is reading this, my rating is for this first experience I've had with your restaurant. If I convince myself to ever go there again, my second review will reflect my experience then. Hopefully you will hire people who won't push your customers to dine at Toscano instead. Atleast when we entered Toscano the entire staff made us feel welcome. Please do take action and try to solve a problem (as is expected from a hospitable restaurant) rather than take the easy route and shoo your customers away.
UPDATE A big shout out to someone at Fox in the field for reading my review and pushing the team to rectify the situation. We got a call from the restaurant apologising for our bad experience the first time and inviting us to visit again. Although a bit reluctant, we went (because like mentioned previously, we'd heard good things about the place and were excited to try out the experience). This time it was a Tuesday evening, so no brunch to separate us. We were shown a nice table on the rooftop and were attended to very well by Shiva and Shubho. The General manager Vivek was instrumental in overseeing our experience and ensuring that it was good. I can now tell you, it was Very Good. We had amazing cocktails and a hearty meal. Our first round of cocktails was improvised by the team at the bar counter. They requested for our choice of base and came up with a drink similar to the Cosmopolitan. It was good and the second round that followed was even better. The Tandoori Jhinga was on point and our favourite of the day followed closely by the grilled chicken breast. The mashed potatoes were to die for and the chicken was perfectly cooked. All in all, we had a wonderful evening and all thanks to the superb team at Fox in the field. Hoping to return here for the Sunday brunch again. Thank you team and kudos to your...
