Missing Delhi or the authentic North West Frontier cuisine? Well then, head to this restaurant. This acclaimed restaurant chain opened a branch at Forum Shantiniketan Mall last October. I went there for lunch today and loved everything about it.
Ambience - Very chic. Exudes an air of elegance. It is brightly lit and all the walls are decked with photographs of Punjab royalty giving it an aristocratic feel.
Service - Before I move on to talk about the food, I need to specially mention some people who made the dining experience a truly memorable one. Gagan, the manager who personally attended to each guest and made sure we were comfortable despite the place being packed to the brim. Chef Saloni who ran the show by dishing out amazing delicacies. Last but not least, Sourav, a young energetic lad who was serving us with great enthusiasm and even explaining the origin & composition of each dish. Thank you folks and kudos to you guys!!!
Food - Trust me , this place offers a great variety of vegetarian delicacies. They start by giving you a papad sampler with mint yogurt chutney which is finger licking good.
Drinks: Kesar Pista Lassi - Thick and tasty ; right amount of sweetness and subtle flavours ;
Starters:
Paneer Tikka Multani - Huge chunks of succulent paneer (cottage cheese) infused with mild herbs and cooked in the tandoor
Tandoori Soya Chaap - Healthy and delicious ; has a great texture and consistency and is very well marinated with the right kind of spices
Khumbh ki Galouti - I haven't had a better Mushroom kebab ; it has a smoked flavour and is perfect
Hara Bhara Kebab - Goodness of paneer, spinach and green peas ; the presentation is excellent and tastes delicious
Main Course:
Ambarsari Aloo Kulche - It is so soft that it just melts in your mouth ; served piping hot and tastes best when had with Pindi Chole
Pindi Chole - Just the way it's prepared up north ; perfect blend of dry roasted spices adds a kick to it
Dal Punjab Grill - Slow cooked urad dal which tastes scrumptious
Guchchi Malai Curry - An exotic variety of mushroom (Morels) stuffed with cheese and served in a sweet butter gravy ; truly delectable
Tarkari Kesari Biryani - Aromatic and long grain basmati rice which is dum cooked ; need I say more?
Desserts:
Rasmalai - I am still salivating ; Great tasting
Gulab Jamun Orbs - Stuff jamun with chocolate at the center and this is what you get. Tasty and leaves you craving more !!!
Kulfi Faluda - If they serve milk like this, I can have it 'all day ,every day' ; the kulfi is rich and creamy
You must try these items. They even have the buffet for lunch which allows you to taste a lot more at a very reasonable price.
A note to those who think they are overpriced: They serve huge portions and great quality hence the price. Pay for the great taste and quality.
Overall verdict: MUST VISIT FOR A GREAT FOOD AND ENRICHING...

I am appalled with the so called FINE DINE experience in this restaurant on 4th evening. I saw murphy's law getting true, everything which could have gone wrong had gone wrong.
A non-busy Thursday, half of the tables in the restaurant was empty but let me cite the issues I faced with such a small crowd.
Washroom hygiene - No soap in dispenser or battery was dead, toilet seat had splashes, the urinal pot was untidy and the floor was muddy. Reported it to the floor manager, he said he will check and went and laughed it out with other staffs and disappeared for the day. How callous behaviour can you expect. It was similar in the female washroom as well as reported.
2.FOOD - you are charging an abrupt 8/900 for a side and the quality is so BAD? we received a smelly mutton or may be a lamb when we ordered Laal Maas, the gravy tasted very undercooked and there was a pungent raw smell from the meat, have heard you guys source it daily and so but somewhere something was wrong gravely. By this time the floor manager has slyly disappeared and Dinesh took charge and tried to resolve things and got the chef come to us and also offered a replacement but it was too late in life Note: Other food were good but not something worth and Awe
3.POOR SERVICE - In continuation to the above, the mocktails ordered along with the order was not fulfilled till 45 minutes, even we got stuffed kulchas served was astonishing, after nudging them twice they hurried and made the drinks, and by the time it arrived, we were done having our food so we politely denied accepting. It was mentioned later that there's some internet issues because of which the KOT didn't receive orders. Not justified when you are literally super overcharging for everything, such things sound vague and lame.
On a side note, Dinesh really took charge to mitigate and minimize the damage and offered us desserts but this review is to make people aware and take informed decisions that things might look glittery from outside but deep inside you might be up for such a dreadful pathetic experience.
To the management - I understand this is Bangalore and you will get customers and get away with things because of the high spending power of individuals but do consider the service you are offering. 1 out of 100 or 1000 will take things seriously and such reviews will surface. Also, if you are running a store, please have accountable floor managers who don't go undercover when needed. And when you are charging so much, care to give that level of services and don't come up with lame excused to cover misses. If the quality of service is so poor on a non peak hour/day, how can one expect to come during a...
