BOX8 - India's Largest Desi Meals Brand — Restaurant in Bengaluru

This was my first time ordering from BOX8, i was really excited and was expecting to have some great food delivered to my door step. The first half of the experience was great, the website, the ease of ordering, constant updates after ordering from the website about where my order stands was amazing. The food was delivered hot and on time. It only went bad when i received the food and opened the box. It was not what the picture on the website looked like neither it was what i was expecting. Both the meal boxes had 80% of the space covered by rice. In the non-veg boxThere where 2pieces of chicken and half a piece of kabab with exactly 2 spoons of gravy and 2 spoons of salad,a dollop of the green chutney for which i was charged ₹258 +taxes and it was the same story with the vegetarian meal box for which i was charged ₹297+ taxes. So literally it was around ₹600/- for 2 boxes of rice. I called box8 immediately and reported it. The customer service agent just apologized for the issue and said she will report it to the concerned team. I told them the meals were of no use to me as it was just rice in it, they never offered me a replacement meal. For a change we ordered from BOX8 today. We ordered for a veg meal and a Non-Veg meal. It was of four portions and each of the portion has three options that you can pick and choose from. The one we order in veg was lacha paratha, Channa masala, rajma masala, onion and dash of pudhina chutney and gajar ka halava. On the other hand instead of channa masala I ordered for chicken which was boneless. It was a decent sizeable with 3 paratha and decent quantity of spread too. When I say three option on each portion, you can take lacha paratha or rice or mix of both, like wise you have option on all it then. Costing for a veg box is 266 and for a non-veg box is 289. I have ordered from this restaurant via Zomato. Delicious food taste was really very amazing.

I have ordered Amritsari Chhole thali, they have sent a fine Portion of Chhole, one small portion of Dal Makhani and guys Dal Makhani was yumm🤤 3 Paranthas , salad and mini Gulab 6 piece. That was enough for 1 person. My experience was really amazing.

I just want to add some suggestions points which is like , If Box8 can do some changes like in Thali if they can sent raita instead of Small portion of Dal and instead of 3 Paranthas, 2 parantha and some rice.
