For my daughters birthday, had organized a get together with my friends today at Brunchilly. First thing, the ambience and decor was way better than similar barbeque restaurants in Marathahalli area. Also given the weather and rains, almost the whole floor was for us (group of 25). Starter is served in small portions on the table with 3 veg and 3 non-veg. Given that they are specially made for you, they were all hot and well prepared and tasted way better than any standard buffet - It was an ala carte experience. The serving staff was good and were serving on demand. With the rains outside, catch-up with friends and kids milling around and playing hide-n-seek, it was an experience beyond my expectations. With a tummy full with starter, went for the main course with some roti, mutton and fish curry which were again above average. Small portions well made. Although it lacked the variety of a barbeque affair but it certainly compensated and exceeded expectation on taste and its fresh feel. Skipped the desserts as there was cake too :)
Overall its a great value proposition if you are going just by the volume.
The overall experience was little dampened by the last minute billing experience where number of guest mismatched...
Read moreWe visited Brunchilly at Sarovar Portico, Marathahalli for their dinner buffet, and it was a satisfying experience overall. The buffet featured a nice mix of Indian and Chinese cuisines, complemented by a selection of fresh continental salads. The quality of the food was consistently fresh and flavorful, with several standout dishes that truly impressed. From well-spiced Indian curries to tasty Chinese starters and crisp, refreshing salads, there was a variety to suit different tastes. The dessert section was also quite nice, with several tempting options. However, I did find a small piece of walnut shell in the walnut brownie, which was a bit off-putting. The ambiance was comfortable and inviting—perfect for a relaxed dinner with family or friends. Service was attentive and efficient, making the overall dining experience smooth and enjoyable. While there’s always room for slight improvements, Brunchilly offers a solid dinner buffet that’s definitely worth a visit for variety...
Read moreVisited here for a family dinner meet (4 Adults and 3 Kids) The restaurant is undergoing some renovation, so currently seating arrangement is in one of the banquet halls (Nothing much to write about the ambience). The menu shows limited items, but there are other dishes that can be made on request. Ours was a complete vegetarian fanfare. In starters, we ordered French Fries for the kids, Gobi Manchurian, Panner Tikka and Hara Bhara Kabab. Each item was made very well. I'm particularly sceptical of Kababs in general since they tend to be mushy and undercooked on the inside. But it was a delight here. In main course, we ordered Mix Veg Curry and Paneer Lababdar. Again, both were lip-smacking good. Assortment of rotis were soft and well done. We closed with a portion of Fried Rice (though it was totally not required).
I do not recollect when was the last time where I found all items to be tasty.
I am going to be back here again, once the main...
