The Liverpool Hotels — Hotel in Bengaluru

Guests booking in the Liverpool Hotel need to understand that the targeted segment for this hotel is business travelers, on short stay. Nonetheless, the staff makes sure that the guests staying in hotel are catered to and taken care of in every manner possible, and that's the USP of this property - it's staff. Right from reception lady Miss Namarata, to Mr. Yuvraj to every single member of the staff, they are very well trained, soft spoken and very attentive to your feedback/ suggestions/ observations/ issues. Second big USP is Udipi hotel which serves very tasty, pocket friendly food, in the same premises. Third USP is it's location.

I stayed at the property for 8 days with my wife and daughter and as I mentioned, the targeted segment is business travelers for short trip, and while there was no discomfort in my stay at the property, there were few things which doesn't make it a compete family package for longer stay. I stayed in Deluxe room, and opted for breakfast package.

(1) The room provides only a limited number of Hind channel. On request, they did add a few kids channel as I was staying with a young daughter but still could not enjoy some of the English movies we would have loved to watch in our stay there. (2) Everyday one liter of drinking water is provided. For family on longer stay, it's definitely not sufficient. You either purchase additional water at hotel (INR 60 per liter) or buy it from outside. We ended up purchasing 5 liters Bisleri almost everyday from outside. (3) Internet speed for entire stay was surprisingly very slow (1-2mbps). I did mention it to staff but since I was able to manage with mobile hotspot, I did not follow-up. (4) The complementary breakfast menu is very limited. For first two days, in buffet we were provided same menu, after which we complained and they then provided additional items on list but for 7-8 days, we found it a bit restricted.

As I mentioned, as long as you are travelling for a short period of time, this hotel is definitely recommended. Even with family and or longer stay, if you can live with above pointers, you won't...

Awesome hospitality from the staff

Liked · - This one is fairly a new property and if you want to experience hospitality at its best, stay here for a night. To start with, the young lady at the reception was very welcoming, friendly, and humble. The housekeeping staff makes sure they are always a shout away when you need them. Rooms are spacious and very tidy. All basic amenities are available including a water kettle which is kept super clean. The restaurant below serves good vegetarian food. Parking is right in front of the building which is common for both the guests and restaurant customers, so sometimes during peak hours, it could be not available. However, they also have parking in the basement which didn't look ideal to me and hence I always parked in front without any trouble. The security and manager always helped to find a suitable parking spot. There is a well-equipped gym which is kept neat a tidy as well.

Disliked · There is nothing I haven't liked during my visit, to be honest. If I need to give any feedback it would be that: I would have liked a couple of bottles of body wash instead of a single small bar soap. If it has to be a bar soap, better keep a couple more instead of the guest having to ask for it. The bathing area is not covered by a cubicle, so more often than not the water tends to splash into the toilet area if you are not careful. Maybe they can put a curtain or a...

I checked in and went to 2nd floor, key was not working. Hotel Phone number given in booking details is not the existing phone number I went to reception they configured the key this time in computer and I again went to 2nd floor key worked this time. Entered room and found ketchup packet on floor used by previous occupant Bathroom fittings are too old I had burn lot of calories to flush everytime. I think that's gym :) Room lights are not bright. Very dull Later ordered food online and I needed a plate to eat the food. Called reception for a plate , they said OK but never sent the plate. Tatasky in the room was deactivated. Could not watch even free channels. Wifi was not working as wires were cut. They had technician on site it was not resolved till my checkout next day morning. I was taking lift next morning and floor number buttons were not working. So it took me to top floor some other floors and after sometime to ground floor. No stairs to ground floor. :D Checkout was smooth. Jai Liverpool. Beauty from outside only.

Go for it if price is INR.1500 or below. Otherwise you ll find much better...
