ISIRI Resto Bar - Theme Restaurant — Restaurant in Bengaluru

If you are a person who explores restaurants for their ambience and food then this place is a must! It’s got a great feel of TRAIN themed with exited ambience. The interiors are super-cool and it's an unique theme for the customers. A complete railway-themed place, the resto-bar is done up with train-related paraphernalia and decor. For a moment, you feel like you’ve actually stepped onto a railway platform or a train instead of into a restaurant.

The decor elements include everything from a train facade saying ‘Isiri Express’ to the familiar yellow signboards announcing different stations (like Sringer and Kundapura). There are also entire coach-like spaces with seating within, which means it’s going to feel like you’re in a fancier version of a train. You can choose to sit inside the coach or outside, looking around at the train structures while enjoying your meal.

They offer dishes from Pan-Asian, Indian and Continental cuisines. We tried : *Fruit punch *Fried cashew nuts *Mushroom Tandoori *Hara bhara kabab *Mushroom Malai Tikka *Malai Kofta Curry *Missi Roti *Butter Garlic Naan *Pot Veg Biryani *Vanilla Ice cream Each and every dish was decent and top-notch especially loved the starters and freshly made piping hot CLAY POT BIRIYANI.

I loved everything about this place, the ambience, food, lighting and even staff interaction.

If you are crazy about train & train journeys as well as food, then these stations are definitely for you. And a great place to visit with family and friends! Had a pleasant evening nevertheless ! Kudos to the effort...Can try for a difference experience. So, all set to climb...

I visited on 4th May for dinner around 8.30 PM with family.

Staff - Waiter Ashish inside the themed train compartment was with lot of attitude and don’t want us in restaurant. Meaning not welcoming and with lot of attitude and very less responsive. Which reduces the taste of food. He also doesn’t know the menu and food details.

Ordered Food items - Neer Dosa, Squid ghee roast, Meen Pollichathu, chicken lollipop, Chicken pot Biriyani. Kudla cooler.

Neer Dosa & Squid ghee roast was good Meen pollichathu was ordered from their special menu “Ruchi Sambrama” it is mentioned on the menu that it is prepared with “pearl spot fish (Karimeen)”. however they gave us Meen pollichathu prepared with Bangda fish and it was stinking and fish was stale. Then Ashish started explaining about coastal cuisine. Later he forceful sold other item “Bombay Prawns Koliwada” for the same price and he was not atleast giving time or option to us to select from menu. It was pathetic. Bombay Prawns Koliwada was very average it is nothing but prawns pakora. Chicken Lollipop was not good. Over cooked and over priced for pathetic dish. Kudla kuler drink was good and unique and refreshing. Chicken pot Biriyani was good.

Wide variety of menu and mostly coastal cuisine and little Andhra and North Indian cuisine. Also there was list with south East Asian dishes.

Over all experience is average and if you’re visiting for food it is overpriced for normal food items.

They took more than 30 mins to give extra plate of Neer dosa and by the time they gave us...

Visited ISIRI Resto Bar for lunch. Experience started well with good helping security assisting to find parking. There is a basement parking available for cars. Thanks to security. Lift was working well and well maintained. On second floor we were welcomed by two receptionists. Noted name and number before entering into this restaurant. Attendants were all good and cooperative. Being Tuesday we expected less crowd and we got ample choice to select table. They offer various options one inside train bogie theme is nice. They also have wonderful seating near bar area. Mr Ajay took good care of us suggesting menus. Overall service was pretty good. All staff was helpful and friendly. Good we orders was Chicken Manchurian as starter alongwith Sweet Lady mocktail. We then ordered Vegetable Hundi Biriyani alongwith Pineapple Raitha. We wanted something less oily and less spicy. And to our full satisfaction all items were very delicious with no extra oil no extra spices. Taste was perfect. Good they have avoided unnecessary extra chilli mirchi or powder. Good silent cum medium volume music added to our wonderful experience. Thanks for not keeping volumes loud. We could easily interact with each other. Only thing which seriously needs urgent upgrade is washrooms area. Firs please make it neat and clean with good light arrangement and nice air circulation provision. Add some deodorants. Air purifiers like. Will add 5th star once washroom area is upgraded. Worth visiting again. Well done keep it up team...
