Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I usually prefer giving constructive feedback, but my experience at the Coffee Day Cunningham Road branch compels me to write this review. The behavior of the store in-charge Mr. Dinesh has been extremely disappointing, not only with customers but even more alarmingly with his own staff. On several visits, Me and my colleagues who work next door have witnessed him speaking rudely, using harsh words, and creating an intimidating environment.What is most disturbing is the way he treats the younger staff members. There is a small girl working at this branch who has had to silently tolerate his constant scolding and demeaning comments. Instead of guiding or motivating his team, he seems to mentally pressure and humiliate them on the floor in front of customers. This reflects very poorly on the brand image of Coffee Day and makes the atmosphere highly uncomfortable.As a customer, encountering such hostility from the person managing the store ruins what should otherwise be a pleasant café experience. Coffee Day, being a reputed chain, should uphold standards of professionalism, respect, and dignity — not only toward customers but also toward the employees who are the backbone of the brand. Seeing an in-charge mentally tormenting a young worker is distressing and unacceptable.I genuinely urge the higher management of Coffee Day to take strict action against this behavior at the Cunningham branch. Cafe Coffee Day CCD

Ordered a cafe latte today from the CCD outlet at Sigma mall, Cunningham Road. Was surprised to see that gave the beverage in a paper cup(price: 145). Usually it'll be in the usual CCD white ceramic cups and there will be some decoration on the coffee. While, we know that CCD is overpriced but charging Rs145 for a cup of coffee and layer serving it in a paper cup is absolutely unjust. (Presentation also matters)! If you are giving in paper cup and with no decoration nothing then charge less! You can't charge 150 for just pouring coffee from the vending machine.(i can also do that).

Also, when I ordered the coffee, i paid by card and the lady at the counter didnt give me any bill. She only gave the card transaction receipt. It was only when I asked for the bill(sometime later, after receiving my coffee and starting to consume it) that she generated the bill and gave me. When she generated the bill later, she realized that she charged extra (145 instead of 131) and gave me the balance amount back. It was an empty counter. I wonder how can the person at service forget to generate the bill only and charge extra from customer! I don't know what her intention was or whether it was just by mistake but still these things should not happen.

I really had the worst experience here in Cunningham Road branch… I see so many local crowds sitting and chatting inside ccd and staffs are least bothered felt very uncomfortable to sit around not only that the food here tastes worst!! Cheese garlic toast was filled with garlic paste which again was not worth the money… the overall ambience was like fish market with all local uncles staring at girls making them feel very uncomfortable… I’m so glad there are other coffee places in and around Bangalore to hangout which feels much safer with decent crowd. Ccd here feels like a complete cheap place with worse staffs. The standard that ccd have has definitely gone down because of such local uncles and hiring such cheap staffs who get extra tips from the local uncles so they allow such local crowds with zero ethics to make others feel uncomfortable. It’d be great if someone with good education with decent standards or the manager with good ethics is hired or placed here in this outlet. I suggest if anyone is looking for a safer environment to work or hangout please google some better places than visiting this particular outlet in...
