A quaint and quiet cafe on an otherwise bustling Cunningham Road. The cafe offers large windows to calming views of lush greenery and plenty of natural lighting.
We ordered the Mixed Berry Smoothie (Rs250) that was refreshing and seemingly healthy - a definite ideal alternative to your usual lassi. On the contrary, the Iced Latte (Rs300) was overwhelmingly cloy (and unconsumed) but we take ownership for this disappointment for it as it was our lack of communication to the barista to not add sugar 🥲.
The cafe offers a rainbow of roast and coffee types, including Vietnamese shakerato, sea salt mocha, hazelnut, caramel, toffee nut and a bewilderingly permutations to satisfy any and all curious or curated coffee connoisseurs. It also showcase a spectrum of snacks and sandwiches (especially turnovers!) that look delectable 🤤 There are also unique merchandise (coffee beans, coffee cups and saucers) for sale.
I took one star off due the state of the wash-room but understandably, it was a busy day. Overall, a great getaway for catch-ups over coffee or work (as it is opens...
Read moreI had coffee - pure South Indian Coffee - at this place with a friend. The taste was exquisite. But this shop seems to have modelled itself along the lines of Starbucks and other, similar western vendors. Why? It beats me. Why are we still so concerned about equating ourselves with Western brands? Thankfully, the coffee tasted very South Indian. Well done! I allude to Starbucks because, like in every single outlet of that internationally famous chain, they served the coffee lukewarm here in Third Wave as well! There are three inviolable attributes of South Indian filter coffee: Hot, Strong, Sweet! The strong and sweet bits were as they ought to be - and here is a special sabhash to the management - they asked, and used jaggery instead of white sugar, another of those impositions by the White Man on us. Oh, I almost forgot - another Strabucks-ian trait: the coffee here costs approximately ten times that of equivalent, if not better, coffee in a thousand roadside shops all over Bengaluru! (? payment for use of wi-fi, may be?). So check your UPI wallet...
Read moreAfter searching for many places to have juice, we went here as we saw summer juice mentioned on the entrance door. Place was neatly maintained with good frames. Looks like they are replicating cafe coffee day. Even CCD is just in front of this shop. While looking at menu, I felt it was costlier. But when we thought we will order less and share, staff told about the offer if we install the app. We got 100 rupees offer for installing the app. So all 3 of us, installed the app and ordered separately. This saved us 300 rupees. Staff neatly explained which sandwich and juice is good. We ordered panned tikka and Mexican paneer sandwich, strawberry milkshake and chocolate milkshake. Taste wise, felt sandwich was good. Juice had more sugar than the original flavour. May be they should also ask how much sugar is required and serve based upon one’s taste. We were there for almost 3 hours as it was raining. I recommend this place for anyone who wants to work with free Wi-Fi and...
