Title: A True Culinary Gem in Bangalore Review: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hotel Chandrika in Bangalore, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. As one of the oldest hotels in the city, it has a rich history that is evident in both its ambiance and its flavors. The hotel's prime location on Cunningham Road, right in the heart of the city, makes it easily accessible for both locals and tourists alike. Hotel Chandrika truly excels in providing an authentic taste of South Indian cuisine. Their idli, dosa, and vada are simply outstanding. Each dish is prepared with utmost care, using traditional recipes that have been passed down through generations. The flavors are vibrant and the textures are spot on, showcasing the mastery of the chefs in the kitchen. While exploring their menu, I came across a hidden gem that I highly recommend: the bonda soup. This delightful delicacy is a unique twist on the classic bonda, featuring a flavorful and comforting soup base with perfectly cooked bondas floating within. It's a must-try for anyone looking to experience something new and delicious. In addition to the exceptional food, the service at Hotel Chandrika is commendable. The staff members are friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any queries or recommendations. Their passion for their craft is evident in their warm hospitality, adding an extra touch of delight to the dining experience. The restaurant itself exudes a charming and nostalgic ambiance. It is a place where tradition meets modernity, with tasteful decor and a cozy atmosphere. Whether you're enjoying a meal with friends or having a quiet dinner for two, Hotel Chandrika offers a pleasant setting for any occasion. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Chandrika to anyone in search of authentic South Indian delicacies in Bangalore. From their mouthwatering idli and dosa to the innovative bonda soup, every dish is a delightful journey for your taste buds. Combined with the restaurant's prime location in Cunningham Road and impeccable service, it is a dining experience that will leave you wanting to come back for more.

It's the very best vegetarian restaurant and offers wide variety of dishes. The price is also ok. They ambience is great and framed many good portrait of pictures. South Indian meals was just good and nice decoration and pictures... the perfect combo. Maybe need a bit more smile from the receptionist and staffs they come again and again to ask seats to other customers, Service was not good but tasty food from this vegetarian restaurant just off the Cunningham Road, Abshot Layout, Vasanth Nagar, The prices are extremely good we had the South Indian Special Thali which was very generous for one person. Lots of tasty vegetables. The tomato potatoes stuffed curry was great too. What a place !! I have been here lots of time and will go definitely many more times. They have very good South Indian food with local Indian price as this places is situated in the Cunningham road which is very commercial place but their price is not little bit expensive. What ever I eat here Puri vegetables sagu masala dosa paratha dal paneer coconut chutney with spicy sambar all was absolutely delicious the food is best. The restaurant is very clean and my tummy fully happy and satisfied thanks.

I had the worst experience today. The management looks changed. I had been there earlier but this what happened is unacceptable. First thing despite calling out to one Annappa that I have been waiting for them to take order he gave no attention and after which a person by name Madhu came and I expressed how no one was coming to take the order for so long to which he so rudely answers because I was on my phone. I don't really understand how me getting a call during the time I was waiting suddenly became their excuse. On top of that the server threw the bowl of food on the table first I thought it may be a mistake it happened again. I didn't say a thing to him rather just directly went to the manager because this experience not only happened to me but also to people who were seated in front of me. We were so disappointed and I thought I could pay the bill at the counter because Mr.Madhu who was suppose to come to take or enquire about further order or bill never turned towards our table. I expressed this to Annappa who saw all this happening from start but to my shock he was the manager. He instead of being the responsible one was trying to hide what had happened and just silent. Just hope this doesn't repeat...
