Cafe Happy Place, nestled near RMV Club in Dollars Colony, is a peaceful green escape where the motto Eat, Laugh & Be Happy truly comes to life. With its open-air setup, natural ventilation, and calm ambience, it's the kind of place that instantly lifts your mood. The cafe is clean, the vibe is relaxed, and the staff — including the friendly, hands-on owner — make the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. This review is based on my two visits, and I can confidently say the food quality, taste, and quantity have remained consistently top-notch. The menu is impressive and full of variety. Soups like Chicken Cheesy Chowder, Roasted Pumpkin Soup, and Broccoli Soup are rich, creamy, and comforting. Salads are equally satisfying — from the classic Caesar Salad and Smoked Chicken Salad to the refreshing and creamy Potato & Egg Salad (a must-try). For starters, the list is long and exciting. BBQ Chicken Wings (a definite must-try), Chicken Satay with Peri Peri Sauce, Assorted Bruschetta (Classic Tomato & Olive, Corn & Spinach, Mushroom with Jalapeno), Corn & Cheese Croquettes, Crispy Mushroom Umbrellas (another must-try), Mozzarella Sticks, Thai Basil Cottage Cheese, Crispy Chicken Tenders, and Prawns Tempura with Salad (a should-try) — all served fresh and full of flavour. The mains are equally indulgent. The Piccata Chicken Sandwich is deliciously filling, while the Moroccan Stuffed Chicken Steak is a must-try for its exotic flavors. In the pizza section, the Pizza ai Fungi with three kinds of mushrooms, mozzarella, parmesan cheese, and truffle oil is a clear must-try, especially for mushroom lovers. The Pizza Ananse-e-Mais Chicken is a unique pick for those who enjoy pineapple with chicken, and the Pizza BBQ Pollo is a smoky delight. Don’t miss the Chicken Parmigiano if you’re craving a hearty main course — another must-try. The drinks are equally impressive — Watermelon Mojito and Orange Mojito are super refreshing, and the Choco Hazelnut Milkshake is pure indulgence. If you’re visiting on a weekday and want to enjoy more without spending much, their ₹599 Unlimited Offer (excluding taxes) (available Monday to Friday, 12–3 PM) is a great deal. The offer excludes fish, prawns, desserts, and beverages, but includes nearly everything else on the menu. Portions are thoughtfully served based on group size to avoid food waste. Soft background music, a calm atmosphere, fresh ingredients, and generous portions — Cafe Happy Place offers everything you'd want in a food experience. Whether you're dining a la carte or going for the unlimited menu, the taste, quality, and hospitality will keep you...

In a world where many cafes rely on fancy decor and prime localities to impress, this gem proves that all you really need is good vibes, great food, and warm people to create memorable moments with family and friends.
Tucked away on a calm, leafy street — far from the noise and chaos of honking cars — the cafe offers a peaceful escape. If you get a seat near the open-view area, the greenery outside just adds to the whole charm. It's the kind of place where time slows down, conversations flow easily, and the world feels a little better.
The staff here are absolutely wonderful — polite, soft-spoken, and genuinely welcoming. The menu is impressive too, offering a wide variety of options with thoughtful add-ons in many dishes.
Now coming to the food — the brick oven sourdough pizzas were nothing short of outstanding. Proper crust, perfect balance of toppings, and that satisfying smoky flavor! The nachos with salsa? Honestly, one of the best I’ve had — crisp, fresh, and packed with flavor. We also tried the spaghetti and chicken tenders — both hit the spot beautifully. Everything tasted like it was made with care.
One small suggestion: bottled water options would be a good addition, though the in-house RO water served was fresh and absolutely fine. Also, during peak hot days, a few spots inside can feel a bit warm — perhaps a few extra fans or cooling solutions could help, especially with Bengaluru’s rising temperatures.
I had been looking for a place exactly like this — New Bel Road has so many overhyped, overcrowded cafes that it’s a blessing to find a cozy, genuine spot like Cafe Happy Place.
Big thanks to the owners and the entire team for creating such a sweet space where people can truly relax and be happy!
P.S. Special shoutout to the wash basin! Took me a full two minutes of "rocket science" to figure out how to use it. Maybe a small sign saying "Wave to activate" could save some fellow low-IQ...
Read moreI stumbled upon the Happy Place cafe and I'm so glad I did! This cozy spot is a true delight, serving up delicious food and drinks that will leave you feeling, well, happy!
I tried their freshly made pizza and pasta, and oh boy, it was love at first bite! The pizza crust was perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of crunch and flavor. The pasta was cooked al dente, with a rich and savory sauce that complemented it perfectly.
But Happy Place isn't just about Italian food - their sandwich and burger game is strong too! And if you're in the mood for something refreshing, their mocktails are a great choice. I tried the virgin mojito and it was delightful!
What really stands out about Happy Place, though, is the atmosphere. It's warm and inviting, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. Whether you're meeting friends, working remotely, or just need a quick bite, Happy Place is the perfect spot.
Overall, I'm so impressed with Happy Place and can't wait to go back and try more of their menu. If you're looking for a reliable and delicious spot, look no further!
