Read moreOne of the most enriching experience of my life. Drove down from basavanagudi somehow making it before they closed for the day. It's a small cozy place. You'll just have to try your luck when it comes to the flavours. Other than a few, the remaining flavours change everyday. No matter what the flavour let me tell you, you'll always feel lucky. Had the most amazing coffee ice cream with brazillian nut icecream. In a "nut" shell - an experience!! Every flavour we tried, was rich, creamy, fresh and the taste was absolutely genuine. The couple running the show are the cherry on the top. Lovely, warm, enthusiastic and so passionate about their creations. It's more like an art gallery. If you can get to talk to them for a few minutes, you'll find there is a story or a little bit of general knowledge behind every flavour. Be it something as factual as the brazillian nut having the highest oil content or something as actual as the amount of mangoes they cleaned and peeled that day. Their hardwork genuinely needs to be appreciated. No matter why you go there - do enjoy the abundance of nature that has been plucked, cleaned, pealed and churned lovingly into a cup. I definitely did. I would give them a 100 stars as rating if possible. Had a wonderful return drive after that memorable experience - chocolate ice cream in a waffle cup - one for the road that I purchased...
Read moreChurn is a great place that serves amazing handmade ice cream that does feel lower in fat but tastes quite good..!!
Food: We ordered an assortment of flavours; most of them impressed us. The flavour profiles were exquisite and light. Some great flavours that we loved and are favourites are as follows. Ruby Chocolate: Contrary to generic chocolate, this flavour has a very unique taste to it. We realised that there exists something called ruby/pink cacao that is used to create this flavour. It has a subtle but amazing flavour with a slight tinge of berry flavour to it though there are no berries added. (Definitely recommend trying it once) Amazing fruit flavours: Sitaphal, Litchi, Avocado (vegan) & Passion Fruit. (P.S: Maybe Mango too if you like the fruit. Other Must Try: Dulce de Leche, Gulkand, Pistachio, Salted Caramel & the sugarcane sorbet, if available, would perhaps be really good.
Ambience: The place is a decent cafe space with large well-spaced tables. Churn may not be the 'Instagrammiest' of cafes but the ice cream here definitely makes a visit worth it.
Value for money: The place is priced moderately in comparison to other ice cream vendors.
Service & Staff: Most of the time you are met by a smiling gentleman (who happens to be the owner of the store and has some great knowledge of his ingredients) or someone from his family....
