California Burrito Mexican Kitchen @ Esteem Mall Hebbal — Restaurant in Bengaluru

This place use to be good about couple of yrs back but the manager now (Aman Thapa) is an absolute fool.

We had an sms from CB stating that they were providing flat 25% off on all bowls. When this was presented to the manager he literally said you've to order from your flat to get the offer 😂😂😂💥

When told to call his senior, he finally gave the offer. Please don't hire dumbarses like him who want to act smart with the customer.

He definitely needs to be trained on how to talk to customers and accept the offers provided by the company. Have seen him earlier at the sigma mall outlet as well. His service has always been bad, probably should be fired from the job but then that's upto the management.

This is an honest review from a regular CB customer, hope it's taken seriously as constructive feedback.

The new enlarged seating is pretty good now, cleanliness has taken a back seat though. The food has gotten pretty spicy which wasn't the case earlier.

I've been going to the California Burrito since last many years but this particular outlet has been progressively degrading over time. They expanded their store into a very beautiful and lively outlet but their staff has degraded the experience over time.

The last time I went there the person who was making my food was putting so little ingredients that I had to stop him and ask him to put the right amount of ingredients. I typically never let them add Cheese or Sour Cream and I was throughly disappointed when he billed me for additional lettuce. I didn't go back to this exact outlet for over 4 months.

Today I went with some friends and today I had the slimmest Regular sized burrito I've ever had. These people were putting each item as if they were doing some big favour on me. Guess it's enough for me and this outlet.

For the record the Koramangala outlet is a thousand times better. I never had to ask them even once for anything and the portion sizes would...

I had ordered grilled chicken burrito rice bowl, with extra sour cream, from California burrito, hrbr layout, through zomato. Since zomato doesn't allow others to see your detailed reviews anymore, I'm writing here. Sneaky it was, zomato.

So, first off, guacamole was extra and they charge around extra Rs 75 for it. Ridiculously expensive. I had paid for extra sour cream.

Most importantly, the chicken wasn't fully cooked. Food poisoning scare.

If you don't pay extra for guacamole and sour cream, all you're getting is is just rice, beans and very little chicken. That's another thing - there were very little chicken pieces. Most of my bites were just rice and beans.

The foreigner White person who own California burrito really doesn't understand everyday food that Indias eat - everyday. Without the extra guacamole and extra sour cream, this is just everyday...
