Chai Point - Koramangala — Restaurant in Bengaluru

While walking in Koramangala after our Saturday lunch, we came across this Chai Point outlet. This Chai Point branch has been on my mind for so many days, and today I got an opportunity to visit it so I dragged my friend to spend some time. There are ample tables on both sides of the path leading to the counter, making the place quite spacious. We were greeted by Ms.Jharana, My friend wanted to have a tea without milk and I decided to have a pista rose cake. Ms.Jharana suggested to my friend to go with Kashmiri Khawa tea, but my friend wanted something else, after going through the entire menu he decided to go with Kashmiri khawa tea.

While placing the order I did ask about the temperature of the outlet, since it was quite hot and suffocating, we got to know that AC is under maintenance and only an AC near to the door is functioning, so we decided to sit there. Within no time we got our orders served, since we were the only customer at that instance.

The Kashmiri Khawa did really look interesting with its transparent golden hue and dryfruits immersed in it. The fragrance and taste did justify the name and my friend did really like it.

The Pista rose pastry was airy, not too sweet but the texture was a bit dry and crumbly. It could have been a little moist so that its flavours could have been elevated. The dry fruits did add a good bite to the entire dish.

As a regular customer at Chai Point (8th Block, opposite the police station), I’m extremely disappointed with the experience lately. One of your employees, Geetha, is constantly rude, screams at everyone, and has a terrible attitude towards both customers and staff. Her aggressive behavior makes the store environment unbearable, and I’ve seen many customers walk out because of her.

Loved the ambiance and the warm demeanor of every staff member, including the manager. Everyone greeted us with a big smile.:) The outlet has a great seating area with pleasant background music.

I was also recommended a few of their newly launched items by the manager, Avinash Mondal. The Paneer Pudi Idli was exceptional a must-try. I also highly recommend their Chole Chaat served with Kesar Elaichi.
