🇦 The ambience of the restaurant is very good, they have hung up photo Frames of people who have clicked photos at the restaurant, there is a nice art work of hangings. A wall for all the paintings and a small shelf with books as well. The restaurant is pretty big than what is expected with nice seatings available. A rooftop over another rooftop and is really good.
🇸The service at the restaurant is pretty fast, the crew are courteous and agile.
🇫🍽️ What I ate??? 🍴Jalapeno corn and cheese poppers➡️The presentation of this looked good with loads of mayo and cheese in them. It tasted good.
🍴Button mushrooms fritters➡️This was the result of nice juicy mushroom which had a good cream coating served with the pepper dip. It tasted really good.
🍴Thai matsanam chicken satay➡️The chicken chunks were associated well with the peanut flavour. It tasted really good. They were tender and fresh.
🍴Prawn Tempura ➡️The prawns were cooked well, they were crispy which was served along with the prawn flavoured chips which were crispy and hard. The Wasa bi mayo went well with the prawns. They were one of the best starters of the day.
🍴Lagan ki Boti➡️They were eye catching stuff of the starters. The lamb was cooked very well. They were literally the baby sized version of parathas. The spices of which were present in the lamb went really well. This is a must try starter.
🍴Fishcakes with lemon butter sauce➡️This was good, I loved the sauce more than the fish cake.
🍴Malabar prawn curry with appam➡️ I had huge expectations on this Kerala cuisine, the Malabar prawn curry was excellent, the essence of coconut could be felt, mixed with the Indian spices. They tasted excellent. The appam too wasn't hard either. They really went with one another.
🍴Morrocan lamb with saffron rice ➡️The lamb was ultimate. It tasted excellent, the lamb gravey which was perhaps done to go well with saffron rice, the lamb meat was excellent.
🍴Tandoori chicken pizza➡️It was the wood fire pizza with thin crust but fat heart,it looked amazing, it was dressed up well with loads of chicken chunks and chillies along with other vegetables.
🍴 Chocolate brownie sizzler with vanilla ice cream➡️ This was one for the front page the chocolate brownie sizzler was super hot. It was boiling hot and happy to be eaten.

🍴Chavad's blue langoon➡️ The blue langoon looked and tasted good as well, I was really surprised with the amount of lemon chunks which were dropped in the jar. Nevertheless it tasted good.
🍴Litchi blossom➡️The litchi blossom tasted good, it kind of lacked that litchi flavour and wasn't there with my expectations atleast when I saw the name in their menu as with blossom. It lacked that blossom quantity.
All in all chavadi is a wonderful restaurant which has actually got lost due to its presence in a residential area. The chavadi food and service though is excellent. They also provide with best in class cocktails. I would suggest the hotel management to place a hoarding some where in the main road so that there can be more footfall for the restaurant, because...
Read moreThis Wonderfully Architectured rooftop restaurant which sits in Bhanergatta Road welcomes you with delicious food and quirky Ambience. It is not soo often that a restaurant is extremely good in both in terms of food and ambience but Chavadi does a complete justification in terms of both
Unlike other rooftops, in Chavadi you could actually do a lot of activities like painting other than having food. They have their own garden where they grow their own herbs and the restaurant is very commodious with excellent seating capacity. Would You like cooking something delicious? Chavadi gives you an opportunity to cook in their kitchen. As it is a rooftop and located in 4th floor, you could rejoice the evening breeze which makes you to relax for a while.
Do take a look at the description of the dishes I tasted overthere.
Saffron punch : Saffron punch is a mocktail which refresh you with its authentic flavour of Saffron with fruits.
Nigerian suya : A perfectly roasted chicken which is garnished with red chilli and curry leaf. A special ingredient (don't know the name) which tastes resembles gun powder is a hero in this dish. It is a perfect starter to start your meal with.
Grilled karela : I am not a Karela fanatic. From my childhood I never liked it because of its bitterness. But this dish left me astonished with it's pleasing flavour of karela in combination with sauce and cilantro.
Lebanese lamb kafta with khaboos and aioli : Kahboos is basically a middle eastern flat bread served with local dishes in Arab countries. The juicy lamb kafta which is prepared with blended spices is layered on khaboos and garnished with little amount of cilantro. I would love to taste it again because of the mouthsmacking flavour.
Prawn crackers : Never tasted this type of crackers before. The normal crackers are dusted with prawn powder which actually gives you an authentic flavour of prawns. You could actually enjoy feel the flavour of prawns in every bite. It goes well with drinks.
Barbecue wings : These are the normal chicken wings grilled and coated with sweet barbecue sauce. The taste is amazing.
Mushroom duplex : This grilled peppery mushroom dish served with green chutney and pieces of onion is tasty. The mushroom is perfectly grilled and tastes fresh.
Veg and Tandoori chicken Pizza 🍕 : Both the pizzas served are of thin crust and loaded moderately with cheese. The chicken tandoori pizza tastes good but it could be better. I would rather prefer the veg pizza over the chicken Pizza because of its balanced flavours and ingredients like tomato, olives, babycorn and mushroom 🍄. It is a must try.
Lagan ki boti : Perfectly cooked juicy mutton with balanced flavours loaded on small puri and garnished with onion and cilantro. It is just a wow for this dish 👌❤. The strong mutton flavour with blended spices tease your tastebuds to have it again.
Penne with cheese and alfredo sauce : This is the best dish amongst all the dishes. The cheesy flavour with combination of alfredo sauce makes Penne juicy and tasty. This is definitely a must try!
Veg platter : It comprises of veg cutlets, grilled paneer, Veg bruchestta and lettuce with 2 different varieties of sauce. This platter is perfect for vegans 👌.
Nachos : The cracky nachos are loaded with adequate amount of veggies like olives, cilantro, tomato, onion, green space. This dish is soo flavourful.
Mango and Redwine kulfi : Redwine kulfi is their signature dessert which gives you a flavour of Redwine in the kulfi. This dessert is thick and tastes superdelicious. The Mango kulfi is seasonal and tastes really good.
Emphatically, it is a wonderful experience with their food and ambience. I would love to visit again...

Food- Impeccable quality. Impressive Presentation. Frozen Mango Mocktail was nice refreshing slush based drink. However the others were average and can be improved. Chavadi has an Open kitchen where diners can cook and their dish is added to the menu based on popularity. Some ingredients like herbs are grown on the terrace garden in house and are freshly sourced in preparation of dishes.
Prawns tempura was outstanding. Soft and fresh prawns marinated well in a superb batter and deep fried. Wasabi mayonnaise was divine. Prawn Crackers served with it are irresistible that I couldn’t stop munching on. Can be a complete appetizer on its own.
Lagan ki boti was incredible. Succulent pieces of lamb on a mini paratha that causes an explosion of flavors on the palate. My favorite on the menu and one of the best Ive had.
Sesame and Chilli fish Tikka as well as the fantastic Lebanese Lamb Kofta was Perfectly grilled to melt in your mouth covered in a splendid spicy masala. The piquancy of the former excites the senses while the later was served with khubos and aioli. Highly Recommended
Nigerian Suya Chicken Kebab was exemplary. Tender, juicy and I loved unique blend of seasoning that it was tossed in.
Woodfire Pizza was brilliant. Delicious Toppings, Crispy on the outside and generous use of cheese made it rich.
White Sauce Cheese Pasta was remarkable. Right taste, texture and creaminess.
For dessert, Kulfi icecream served in a clay pot was a true delight. Brings out the cravings whether you have a sweet tooth or not.
