I came to Apollo hospital for my mom's surgery and after the successful surgery, I decided to eat much as I didn't have food from morning. Hence I visited A2B near this. I have opted for table service as they said I will get extra rice for the south indian meals and I opted. After 10 mins , the waiter came and asked what I wanted and said south meals also told him to bring water and he successfully brought after 5 mins. I waited waited and finally plate with Sambar chapathi other stuffs reached my plate except rice. I had whatever and asked for rice and no one seems responsive. The guy who is responsible for the table always busy in taking orders and never listen to my request. Finally after 5 mins , he brought the bowl of rice and started eating with sambar. When I asked for extra Sambar and ghee, he brought the ghee along pappu powder. He never served initially that pappu powder . Why can't he served in the moment immediately after serving rice. I asked for extra rice and again they delayed and frustrated and I stopped eating. I was checking if he bring that extra rice as I sat on the same table but he never brought. Finally I wanted to get Outta this place and asked for bill. He again roaming roaming but didn't bring the qr. What nonsense man. Then I checked the bill and gave money and never waited for change and waiter might have thought that was tips for his service.
The moral of the story. DO NOT COME ALONE. I was thinking if they are tired but not same guy happily serving next to my table who came with family. Next to that table also there was couple and he served with happy smile.
I know the owner and management will see discrimination but why you man. You are also come from poverty and working hard and have you changed your mindset or the management? I have his photo also but I don't want to ruin him.
The owner should stop giving interviews to the YouTube channels and start educate his employees about hospitality. He will never do or...
Read moreI had the worst experience one can have in a restaurant in here. I walked into Adyar Anand Bhavan with high hopes and a lot of excitement, expecting the same excellent service, warmth and great food that I experienced at their Bommasandra branch. Even if the service wasn’t up to that standard, I at least hoped the food would be decent, like at their Basavanagudi branch. Unfortunately, this one is the worst of all, despite having more space, more staff members, and a good location.
After being seated, we waited for 30 minutes for someone to take our order. We even called out to a few staff members, but they ignored us as if we were an inconvenience rather than guests. Frustrated, we decided to leave after asking a waiter if he was ever going to take our order. The waiter then told us to "sit near the crowd so we can see you and serve you." Seriously? I believed we had the right to sit wherever we liked; it’s not like we were outside the restaurant.
Reluctantly, we decided to return as we had driven a long way just to eat here and were extremely hungry. We hoped maybe the issue was just with that waiter, but the manager’s attitude was just as disappointing. He told us that with so many people around, he couldn’t do anything but ignore us.
We finally sat down where they wanted us to sit and got a waiter to take our order, hoping the food would redeem the experience. Sadly, it was a letdown. The Gobi Manchurian was dry and raw, and the tea was terrible. We didn’t bother trying anything else and left quickly, vowing never to visit any of their branches again (except for the Bommasandra one, which is exceptional with amazing food and good service).
It seems this restaurant has let its popularity and sales inflate its ego, forgetting how to treat customers with respect....
Read moreI recently visited a sweets shop in search of some treats and encountered an experience that left me quite disappointed. Upon approaching a lady who had a fair complexion and adorned her forehead with kumkum, I inquired about purchasing some sweets. To my surprise, she informed me that only parcels exceeding 200 grams were allowed. Fair enough, I thought.
As I started selecting various sweets, she restricted me to only certain sections for parceling. This restriction irked me slightly, and despite my irritation, I complied. However, when I requested the items, she insisted on payment upfront before handing over the sweets. This demand felt unnecessary and frustrating.
What compounded my disappointment was the shift in her demeanor. Initially conversing in Kannada, she abruptly switched to Hindi and then another language altogether. This abrupt change and the subsequent shift in attitude felt rude and unwelcoming. It's disheartening to encounter such behavior, especially when communicating in one's native language.
The encounter left me feeling disrespected and displeased. The demeanor and behavior displayed by the staff, characterized by laziness, rudeness, and an apparent lack of respect, were unacceptable. As a result, I've decided not to return to this shop for any future purchases. I hope the establishment addresses such instances of poor customer service to ensure a more welcoming and respectful environment for...
