I took really long to write this review because every time I tried to type the review, it left me mouthwatering and I couldn't complete the task! And here it is finally!

Prefect breakfast joint on any given day and a great place if you'd wanna have a royal South Indian breakfast! Every dish is infused with ample amount of pure tasty and aromatic ghee. The surroundings of the restaurant makes you even more hungry as the aroma of ghee being poured over the Dosas spread like wildfire.

Tatte Idle with Ghee Hot and Soft Idlis topped with ghee served with Sagu and chutney. You can skip this if you have a small appetite and directly head to dosas.

Ghee Masala Dose Amazing dosas prepared with ample ghee and served with thick and spicy chutney! Every bite is a heavenly feeling with the crispy ghee infused dose and the amazing thick chutney. And trust me, this flavor will stay at least for half the day! Every bite is a new adventure. Must Try!

Khali Dose Unlike the crispy masala dose, the Khali Dosa is extremely soft and melts as you eat! Served again with Sagu and chutney topped with ghee. Entirely a different experience as this dosa has ghee on if after it's taken off the hot tawa unlike the masala dose which has ghee poured over it as it is being prepared on the tawa. Must Try!

Rice Bath Amazing preparation of rice infused with spices that can tickle your taste buds and also served with the amazing chutney. Add ghee if you are a fan of it and you can avoid this if you aren't a rice lover!

Bath Khali Dose. The same mesmerizing Khali Dose upon which a serving of rice is added after it's taken off the tawa and topped with Sagu, chutney and ghee. This is extremely filling and hence would recommend people to share it! A must try and a local delicacy where flavoured rice is added to Khali Dose. This is entirely a different and a unique experience! Must try!

This food is to be had with GHEE! Go to this restaurant on your cheat days and be ready to drown in ghee and it's aroma! Do try the Ghee Masala Dose and The Khali Dose with Ghee.

Have you ever tasted anything which seems to be fallen from Heaven? No??? Then head towards Chikkanna Tiffin Room in Cubbonpet to have their amazing Masala Dosa made with generous portion of pure ghee.

LOCATION: This place is located in an isolated street of Cubbon Pete just behind Ulsoor Gate Police Station. Google Maps can help you out. If not you can seek guidance from the local. The road which leads to this restaurant is very narrow and often gets jammed. My advice is to drive to this place in a two wheeler.

AMBIENCE: It’s very very basic, small and squeezy… Yes! It feels uncomfortable to dine in such small space bumping into other customers. But this is one of a kind of experience which makes to fall in comfortable zone with fellow guests by admiring the taste of Dosa. Everything is fair for Love and Dosa!

FOOD: They serve two types of Dosas; Masala Dosa and Khaali Dosa Though both Masala Dosa and Khaali Dosa are born from the same pan, they are completely different and belongs to their own league. Yes! Khaali Dosa will be too soft and the golden colour of the outer circle will definitely tempts you. The crispy Masala Dosa which is just out of the Ghee bath gives out an extreme pleasing experience to all your five senses. The taste of this dosa can not be described in words but each bite will have rich essence of ghee. The outer layer of the dosa will be crispy and the inner part will be soft. Apart from these they serve tastiest idli and pulav too.

FINAL VERDICT: This is one of the top dosa serving place in Bengaluru. If the taste means everything to you then this is the place you must visit. I would say, you must visit this restaurant at least once before you...
