My first time experience on 25th April 2025 at 5:45 PM with Nisarga Grand was one of the worst experience, I ever had. My sister-in-law got admitted and operated in St. Martha's Hospital, I was rushing to hospital as she was alone in the hospital, I came directly from the office, before going to Hospital, I was feeling hungry, just thought to take quick bite in the Nisarga Grand. Since I entered the restaurant, what I saw was every staff their were moving in ultra slow motion, somehow I got one of them to order Mangalore Bonda, immediately he replied, you need to wait 10 minutes, I just looked around there were hardly 15 to 20 customers in the restaurant and there were 8 to 10 staffs available to serve. I don't know why the person was so arrogant to tell me wait for 10 minutes. Okay, I was hungry, just want to have something...waited for 10 minutes, then 15 minutes, I was in urgency to go back to the hospital, I went directly to counter to ask what happen to my order, he replied we prepare Mangalore bonda one plate at a time..still 15 minutes for 1 plate too much. Then, finally I got it, inspite of taking so much time, dish was less than average without any flavour of taste, very bland...just to quench my hunger, I ate those fire balls...but I couldn't get the bill to pay, waited, then went to cash counter requesting for bill...he said Rs. 65 for those useless fire balls. I took my mobile and asked for scan code...cashier starred at me and said, we don't scan for the bill amount less than Rs. 100/-, you need to pay cash, my bad day, I didn't had cash in my wallet...I tried to explain my situaion, but cashier was adamant, not sharing the scan code. I am helpless, as I need to go back to hospital soon..I finally scanned Rs. 100/- for Rs. 65 and left the place. Though my review looks too big, but I just don't want others to face similar situation. Please avoid this restaurant, 1) if you in urgent. 2) if you don't have cash in your wallet. 3) If you want to have tasty dish. 4) If you don't want your blood pressure to go high by the attitude of Serving people and Cashier. ZERO STAR RATING TO...
Read moreBeing a local Bangalorean I went here for the first time today in 40yrs of my existence, due to the hype about using their own pressed oil for cooking and I must say the first impression was extremely terrible. And based on that I doubt I'd ever go again.
Service was horrendous. At 9am in the morning the hotel was hardly full yet the staff looked so confused running around like headless chicken. We went as a family and half of us got all our orders while the other half were waiting while we wait. Later when they got theirs, we had to wait for ours.
Simple idly/vada sambar took a good 20 mins to be served, again due to the waiting staff's clueless service
The food was very average to taste. Yes they use their own groundnut oil, yes they use their own organic jaggery and this definitely stands out in the taste of the oil in the food but by no means any of the item on the menu stood out for taste. Masala Dosa was dry as cardboard, chutney/sambar portions were so tiny that we needed atleast 3 helpings per plate.
Prices - Exorbitant for what you get. Totally not worth it.
The only good thing about the place is there's ample amount of 2/4 wheeler parking space. Wait time to find a table was nearly zero. And the only food item that was decent was the Masala Sago Dosa & the Poori. Nothing that you don't get elsewhere but atleast these were a bit of saving grace.
Would I go again?...

Stopped by for a coffee and noticed a flashy poster claiming their "Holige" is healthy. Trusted the name since it’s supposedly an old Bangalore establishment and ordered 5 pieces as takeaway. Was asked to pay at the cash counter – INR 247 – which I did via PhonePe.
As I was walking out, someone came running after me claiming I hadn't paid. Went back only to be told by none other than the owner, KRISHNARAJ SP, that unless he gets a charge slip on his POS machine, it means the payment wasn’t made. Despite me showing him the successful transaction on my end, he kept insisting it didn’t go through. I was in a rush and had no time to argue, so I ended up paying again.
He had the audacity to say that if it really was charged twice, he'd return it once he checks his statements. Even told me to take a picture of his number “just in case.” Well, it’s been days, and surprise surprise – no refund. I've been calling him multiple times, and while his phone is clearly engaged (so he's alive and well), he blatantly ignores all calls and never returns them.
What’s worse? This sorry excuse for a hotel is right next to the Police Headquarters in Bangalore. And yet the owner is running a blatant scam operation. The Holige? Absolute garbage – tasteless and far from “healthy.”
Fraud alert. Stay away. This place is all hype...
