We went to Connie's 6 months ago and we saw the staff behave very rudely to another couple and spoke inappropriately to them. We thought then that it was the couple's fault. Yesterday we went in and were met with a similar treatment. We wanted the seat, we sat last time but they didn't allow us to sit there saying that it was reserved....all the nice seats they said were reserved..when the entire hotel was almost empty....and those reserved tables did not get full untill we left more than an hour later. Their steaks were good both times. However, the spaghetti and meatballs were almost inedible. The sauce was so bad. The service of the staff was unprofessional. I began feeling a little dizzy so asked for water and the staff was standing looking at us so clueless as though they didn't know what is water. So my husband immediately ordered sweet lime soda and that was good. The staff again suprised us by their very bad hospitality. My husband ordered spaghetti for me and a pepper steak for himself and we told them that. When the order was ready they just dumped the spaghetti plate in front of my husband. He said oh no it's not my order it's my wife's......they just walked away with an attitude like it's not my problem. With the spaghetti being so bad we really had a distasteful night out at Connie's.
