Read moreVery economical and tasty food. Two people can easily dine for Rs. 500. However, the interior is too conjusted with just about 8 tables. There is also no place to even turn around. During crowded hours, you will have to wait outside for quite some time. The washbasin area is equally conjusted. Most of the time, they dont keep the washbasin area clean. Washroom is equally the same. For food i will give 4 stars, cleanliness a 2.5 stars and the staff behaviour, just a 3 stars.

If you buy lunch as parcel, beware!
I bought 5 kerala meals on 22 Aug, Sunday. They made me wait 40 minutes; from 12.50 to 1.30 pm to get it. I went home and opened it to see 5 rice packets but only 3 curry/palya/payasam/pappads each. We were so hungry. So I couldn't take it back.
When you buy meals, please open the pack right there, count the number of curry packets to make sure that its equal to the number of lunch you ordered.
They have now increased the price of meals to Rs. 80/meals. And they cheat you with less number of curry packets.
Even the measure of curry/palya is very little. Its like a pinch of everything (except sambar).
Me being their regular customer ever since they have opened in Nehru Road almost 10 years ago, feeling really...
Read moreI recently visited Thallaserry Restaurant and ordered the chicken Biryani, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The chicken in the Biryani was undercooked and raw, which was not only unappetizing but also a serious health concern. Additionally, the Biryani itself lacked flavor and was overall quite disappointing.
Furthermore, I also ordered the pothichoru, priced at Rs. 180, only to find it lacking in value. The pothichoru came with no side dishes or curries, making it overpriced for what was offered. The pachadi served tasted like chlorine, which was a major letdown in terms of taste and quality.
To add to the disappointment, the portion size of the payasam provided was extremely small, hardly filling two tablespoons. This was not only unsatisfactory but also felt like a lack of consideration for the customers. Overall, my experience at Thallaserry Restaurant was marred by raw chicken, flavorless Biryani, overpriced and underwhelming pothichoru, and inadequate portions of payasam. I was left feeling disappointed and dissatisfied with the quality of food and...
